I’ve found on a ‘hard shift’ from 18/6 to 12/12 they tend pause for 2~3 days.
I’ve played with adjusting @ 1/2 an hour a day & 1 hour shift per day for comparison and no pause… Next time I’ll try 2 hours a day.

Cheers

How well do those carbon filters work? Can you have your tent completely zipped and it doesn’t smell at all while in flower outside of it? Outdoors they stink like hell, I’m afraid to start growing indoors lol.

Stoked to see those Groves in flower!

I don’t use a Carbon filter anymore lol
But yes, they work… No smell outside the tent, untill you open it ofcourse.

Ha nice. When my buddy grew in his apartment the place reeked but he used no filter or even a tent. Hearing that they actually work eases my worries.

Any brands better than others or are they all pretty much the same? Sorry to get the thread off track Cadman.

Australian charcoal. Ipower from Amazon, ac infinity are 2 brands I’ve used. Going on 2 years with same filters I only replace the sleeves.

Just take the filter off and chunk it. And replace the filter only. Lots of decent knock offs on amazon.

I would have mounted the controller outside the tent personally. That way its easier to make a change if you want to. You can also check temp without opening.

I was in my buddies apartment and didnt know he was flowering until he showed me.

Very cool, that’s comforting to hear. Glad I won’t have to shy away from more smelly varieties. Whenever I walk up on one of my grows I’ve always been like how do people grow this in their houses, I can smell it from 50 feet away outside lol!

Taken just now

Day 51 from seed, day 4 of 12/12 lighting.

Some downward pointed tips.
Plant in the back has yellow discoloration on leave edges. Otherwise lookin good.

The major indica pollen didn’t take to the pre flower pistols that I can tell, so I’ll try again when I see loads of Flowering pistols.

Still got 1 large clone that I’m attempting to get roots on in dirt now, time will tell.

The 1 up front is still bigger then both the plants behind it

Hopefully you’ll get one with the orange peel smell coming through soon. About half of the plants show it, including the males. You’d be pretty lucky not to get one and miss out.

Noticed some grows from the plants, so I feed them some Gaia Green 284 Flowering Nutrients
I think maybe, the plant on the right side is starting to smell like an Orange peel when rubbing the stem.

I must say tho that Organge Grove definitely grows alot of tight node branches with butt loads of leaves :leaves:

Sounds like a pretty good garden. If the lemon balm is out doors, watch it. It can take over a plot. We have onion grass which is a tiny bulb and once that got hold, it’s everywhere. I get the weed whacker out and the smell of onions fills the air. I have sugar snap peas, cucumbers and cherry tomatoes on trellis made of wire fencing about 6 feet high. The peas have topped it. Makes for an extra layer of privacy against the wood fence for the Humboldt Sour D and Durban Poison.

Good point!

Anytime I plant something in the mint family, I’m sure to put it in a raised container. Mints are crazy! fYI lemon balm is part of the mint family.

Many people don’t consider that these plants will be around much longer than we are, so it’s our responsibility to plant the right things, or make sure we harvest it completely (hard to be :100:%sure). The previous owners of my land were " permaculture people" now we’re battling motherwort and so many other plants that have escaped under their care. I’ll take a photo later, but they will fill in and outcompete everything else. Point is, just be responsible with what you choose to plant.

My Garden is Caged lol :joy:
It’s gonna be an epic summer in “The Yard” (I don’t got no yard) No idea how I’m gonna do this, but I’ll keep playing tetris with all the plants and containers.
