It’s ok man. I was bummed for about 10 mins, then realized I’ve got more seeds of other strains, so it’s no big deal

Purple Paranoia BX1 X Purple Paranoia Paralyzer

Purple Paranoia = Star pupil X (grape romulan x huckleberry soda)

I will be calling this cross " Violetta " from now on. It’s just to confusing and too much to type PPPPP as an acronym without an actual name  to distinguish the difference between all the strains on the market lol

With this much Purple in the strains, this one better be come crazy shads I’ve never seen lol

I believe that’s gonna make an awesome cross!
Violetta is gonna b great. I agree with you it gets confusing with all the ppppppp’s in it.

May STILL be a small hope for making seeds with Purple Paranoia BX1 with her male :purple_heart::pray::blush:

Amongst the dead ass pollen makers, I found a tiny one holding on with lots of roots (3 inches of roots) coming out of him… dropped him in some soil and waiting now. He’s super yellow, if he’s alright by tomorrow I’ll feed him something good.

All I need is a few partials of dust from him to be able to keep Purple Paranoia BX1 alive and making beans.

You quick drying bud? Unless you are, I wouldn’t put my buds right on top of a fan.

We shoot for just a bit of movement for a slower dry.

If you want a quicker dry or battle high humidity, I get it. I just figured I would ask.

No no quick drying lol

I have low humidity issues in my tent, so I figured higher up = more humidity. Was tinkering with the tent till midnight, finally got the tent to 64% humidity and hope to keep it there.

Do you know of a better way? I do have a small cardboard :package: but no small fans to to use.

It’s not always an easy thing to dry perfectly. I just wanted to make sure you didn’t have any air blowing directly on your buds from the fan.

No air blowing onto to buds, only sucking air from the underside of them.

When the lights are off 12/12 schedule, the fan is off. When lights on, the fan is on lowest setting for the buds drying.

Configured AC infinity to turn on @ 70% humidity and turn off @ 55% humidity…

Temps are 24/26°C when lights off & 30°c when on.

Hopefully this allows the buds to dry slowly & maintain 60/65% humidity before going into jars with Bodivia 62% Humidity packs.

All and any advice is always appreciated  and I’ll do my best to make it work.

We shoot for the smallest bit of air movement in the drying room. Our room is bigger than a tent and if we use a fan at all, it’s a small USB fan. Normally I believe it’s just the exhaust fans running and the cool air vent coming in from the ac that move air.

Direct air movement is the quickest way to suck moisture from buds.

Maybe I should leave my 24" box fan off then and only use the Ac Infinity fan

I would try it. How long have your dries been running? How often does the ac infinity kick on?

A box fan will move a lot of air for sure.

Day 2 of the dry. I did wash the buds first, then used the box fan to ensure the buds dryed safely on the 1st day. AC Infinity only kicks on @ 70% humidity on level 5 and off at 50% humidity on level 0.

I meant how long did your last, similar dry go.

That ac infinity should run less and less the dryer the buds get.

Ohh last time I didn’t dry this way and it was too fast and made my buds go to crap. That’s before I had the AC Infinity & before I decided that I did it wrong and needed to have better control

I do have a cardboard box I can use without any air flow if needed. Don’t have any USB fans though

I’m hopeful this one goes alot better and takes 10 to 14 days. The last dry was 4 days and bone dry almost Crispy

I hope it does also buddy. Trying something different and modifying to make it better is one method to do that.

I like the tent and ac infinity with parameters. This will help a lot. That may be enough airflow. It’s hard to say without being there.

As long as I can manage to keep things between 50 to 70% humidity with some air flow, I should be golden.

DIY 4" Fan HACK

Well I don’t use a Carbon filter anymore  (cause I don’t care) BUT now I always have Dust particulars getting sucked into my AC infinity fan, for me this sucks, I don’t wanna shorten the life of this thing :pensive: So I made a quick 5min "Dust Filter hack…

Mayonnaise Jar Lid, cut a hole in it. Air filter material I had laying around from Wal-Mart craft section, place inside lid and use something to squish it into place, fold the overhanging sides over & tape the crap outta it. Slap into place, pressure fitted into place over the 4" Fan hole.

Replace filter cloth when nasty…

I’m assuming anyone can do the same thing with a zip tie and some filter cloth, but this is what I have & I don’t have any zip ties (that would be my go to otherwise)

Enjoy

It ain’t pretty, but it works …

I used a plastic pork rind container with the bottom cut out, and a boot overstretched over one end. I placed that in the port nearest the passive vent I use. This would help keep most of the dust out of my tent in the first place.

Just got this to help with drying cannabis & for vegging.

Hopefully it allows me to dry buds alot better by raising the RH to 60% consistently & without alot of worry. For now I’ve got a wet towel in the tent and that seems to be working.
