Original GG4 plant

I’ve got far too many seeds to worry about cloning. I live by the mantra that variety is the spice of life. I’ve run clones a few times but there is always major FOMO just thinking there could be something NEW in that same spot.

I hear a lot about this Orange Goji cross. I must have missed the boat on that one.

Yep sure does…
Lavender itself would be an awesome strain for a seed run imho. Anyone know if the original wookie strain is still getting around?

I have already made F2’s of her! SO WORTH IT!!!

Yup.
Lanky, stretchy, dark green leaves, purplish petioles…

That looks like an actual-real-life GG4 plant

I grew some just like it…
VERY hardy plant - easy to grow - takes abuse and keeps on growin’

(it monster-crops like crazy, and even the clones branch like crazy)

She got some AK47 pollen on one side today.

She gonna get some Sensi Star f3 pollen on the other side tomorrow.

Captain obvious I guess , but it seems to me GG4 must have a lot going for it . Considering its being crossed with so many other good strains by pretty much everyone . Im curious does anybody prefer it as is . Original clone or s1 . Ive grown some from seed . I had to sort though a few and some grew some balls but I found a couple girls that myself and friends thought was the same or very close to the original . Cloned it for a while but lost it due to a vacation issue . Just wondering .

I may be the only one here who actually likes this plant. I have never grown her before however, and that may change after this run of her, lol.

Most, if not all , will tell you her high is STRONG, but dull, boring, and over the top. Not many like her taste either.
I have a stupid high tolerance level, and for ME, she hits me just right. I also have no problem with her taste. YES, nothing special at all, but I tend to like it…I am probably alone on this , lol!!

I wanted her to breed with to be honest. I have 50states orange Goji and just KNOW these 2 will be a match made in Heaven, and Og will give GG some “personality” and NOT harm her power ONE BIT!!!

Space Monkey, a GG4 cross is suppose to be just super Bud, GG4 tends to pass her power along it appears.

JMHO as always

The reason GG4 gained so much notoriety is due to it being such an easy cash crop plant. Huge yields, high numbers and bag appeal checks all the boxes from a sellers point of view. The added bonus was it being a very tolerant when being pushed hard with aggressive feeding.

Most hybrids of GG4 tend to be better than the original mother for the home grower. It seems the common theme with most out crosses have been in search of better structure, and not so much on yield.

@MichiGreen I didn’t take any cuts, this is a one and done in my garden. And I still know plenty of people with access to it if I ever feel like making poor decisions again.

just my opinion
