I am the same way but with hot pepper plants. They are much cheaper and harder to germinate though.

Ah, I had heard about a bit of that whole deal. So I’m assuming ggstrains brought in mycotek so they could have someone to breed the line and make the seeds? Sorry, I’m just trying to formulate a real opinion on the whole deal and everyone on either his page or their page is super biased. But if he made the s1 there could be some merit to his 80% Herm claims?

No, Josie did not bring mycotek in for anything. Myco was given all his clones. Most, including GG4 by a friend of mine. He then ‘worked’ the lines to ‘ibl’. Then came in like a superhero and sent Josey a few packs, trying to get all buddy buddy with josey and hoodwink the public into your exact point. ‘Josey brought myco in’. Myco talks shit behind everybody’s back, Josey included and I’ve seen the DMs proving such

Ahh thank you for enlightening me a bit! I’m just trying to figure out all of the drama as much as I can and see if any of them have any more merit than the others. It really seems like a cool kids club with a bunch of shit talk all around. I had heard bits about Myco starting his company with a bunch of cuts he was given and that he wasn’t the best dude in general. I’m grossly uninformed on my cannahistory so I appreciate the information.

Meh. As far as myco’s bx, as much as I hate to say it, there is quality to be found. Can’t say for certain if his gg line is truly what he claims as I know he’s pulled bullshit in the past. To me, buying gear from either of them has as much appeal as hitting my d with a 10 lb sledgehammer. Only difference being one hammer came from Home Depot and the other from lowes. Too many other breeders such as Lost River or Bodhi I’d rather spend money on.

Haha I can understand that. Hopefully I can see for myself in time. I came into this side of things with little to no knowledge of their practices or much knowledge at all honestly. Outside of consumption and glass. So I went in with someone on the Ethos multipass when it was a hundred bucks and more or less committed to his gear. I guess I’ll find out how that serves me haha Bodhi and Lost River are certainly on the list as well though.

I have some new gb and a gg4 recombinant inbred line coming for 4-20.
After this gen I will stop backcrossing to the clone and start selfing and full sib crosses to move to a pure homozygous line.
