Exactly. It’s best if you can let the soil cook and then plant a cover crop. The cover crop really helps to balance the soil out. Then you can chop and drop and then plant. I knew the plants would get shocked this round. Next round should be good from the get go. My 300 gallon bed was the same. It took about a month for the plants to adjust.

This Nana Glue catches my eye the most out of all of them in the tent. I love the neon green buds with hues of pink.

This is Sugar Belts. I crossed the stinkiest Rainbiw Belts male I had and Crossed it to a super duper dank Sugar Cane clone. I’m going to drop the night temps to 60 to get some more color out of her. I’m thinking at the end maybe I’ll turn the heater off all together. I still need to let them go a few more weeks to make sure the seeds are as mature as possible.

This is Black Velvet x Pablo’s Revenge from Tiki Madman. It’s looking decent. It looks to be the heaviest yielder.

This is Ayuhuasca Purple from Barney’s farm. It’s OK. I probably won’t run it again. It’s definitely turning purple. Both plants are looking pretty much identical which seems common for strains from the European Seed Banks.

Wow! This Nana Glue is the dankest looking buds I’ve ever grown. It’s getting incredibly frosty with more to come! I love the looks of it!

OMG weed is what I call it… because everyone who see’s that crusty frosty buds first response is… omg LOOK at that thing… then you have to slap their hand because, for some odd reason, their 2nd reaction is to touch it to see if it’s real.

I bow to the Ottofish… :love_you_gesture:

Lol thanks man! I’m pretty impressed with this run. Every grow I get a little bit better. I’m really loving the organic approach. Not a spec of pm this run either and I haven’t dropped the humidity below 65 really.

Nice thread ottafish, everything is looking killer but you are right that nana glue sure is a standout. never heard of square one genetics until I just looked it up.
Keep up the good work :muscle:

I hadn’t either. I kept hearing about Nana Glue from different sources so decided to try it out. It definitely is living up to what was described. I may try and reveg this one out after they’re finished flowering. I’m kind of wishing I took a clone. Although I’m going to get plenty of seeds to hunt from her.

Skipping through your post I initially snagged “Crusty Buds” and thought yeah, that’s it! :vulcan_salute:

I think I’m onto something in the 3 yard beds. Running a low VPD appears to cause the plants to grow very compact. Temp and humidity are both around 85%. My dehumidifier was not working properly…The plants are loving it. I’m dropping the humidity a bit to around 70-75 just because I don’t want mold to start growing on the walls, which when above 70-75 humidity that often happens. I’d like to be 78 F and 72 humidity ideally. But… if I ran through stretch period in flower like this before dropping parameters I bet I could keep explosive growth and limit stretch.

This is a very good thread, nice work brother!
I noticed the diamond K gypsum…how did you come across that?
Anyway I will be over here, chillin with a fatty.

Concentrates NW. You can order all kinds of organic stuff through them. It’s my favorite source for organic ammendments.

Shag, is the Diamond K hard to find? I’m pretty spoiled up here. Lots of sources for quality inputs. They’re a guy a half hour away where I can get some of the best worm castings there is for 100 bucks a yard. It’s a killer deal!

Not hard to find really, just not real easy to source locally, I pay too much for shipping.
BTW
I was really asking how did you decide to use this product.
What do you know about it?
Why did you choose solution grade?
Just being nosey here…

I bought it as a nutrient source for my soil recipe. It’s available locally so I don’t have to pay for shipping luckily. I try and use as many different sources of nutrients as possible for diversity. I think diversity and redundancy is good for growing better quality flower. I assume you already know it’s comprised of calcium and sulfur. I followed a recipe my buddy gave me for the large beds of soil. He’s been testing his soil during his grow and dialing it in. I added some more goodies because I couldn’t help myself but it should be pretty close to target levels to start with. I also have the Sulfate of Potash, and Lime from Diamond K. It doesn’t have to be the micronized product but I figured the smaller it is the easier it would be to break down.

Yes, this is true good call there.
If you can pick it up locally that is great, I pay I think 60-$80 shipped.
Therefore I use pelletized gypsum to save money.
If I could find it cheap I would use it all the time too.

This product works great for top dressing or even mixing a solution to reset the soil CEC if things get out of balance.

I love it, I just wondered why you chose it.
Thank you for the info.
