I would recommend making sandwiches from the slices of the final product. You will feel your arteries closing.

I was watching the evening news and they said the wind got up to 55-60 mph yesterday around my area…when it started to get windy everyone’s leaves started to blow on my property but by the time the wind stopped in the evening my property had no leaves at all it all blew to my other neighbor’s property…:joy::sweat_smile::rofl:

They look like collard greens almost. I never knew they grew that way. I thought they come out of the ground like asparagus. Kale looks good

We was browning chicken and sausage for a little bean stew last night in our makeshift gazeebo made out of a grain bin.

Tried something new on this turkey, a herbed mayo baste.

Homemade mayo

Slathered ol’ Tom inside and out, and as much under the skin as I could get.

Into the Big Easy, Cooks with a convection and radiant heat.

The kids tore it apart before I could get a pic!

I like to throw some mayo and seasoning mix on chicken and it’s usually amazing…

Still need to try to roll some steaks in milk powder before cooking them, I’ve heard that’s fantastic too

I use mayo instead of butter on grilled cheese, so much easier to spread!

Never heard of milk powder on steak, I want to know how that goes.

Seafood soaked in buttermilk is great, especially something like Bluefish.

I am definitely basting the the next grilled chicken with mayo, sounds delicious, and it’s so easy to make the mayo :yum:

It’s a deal, especially if you are a turkey fryer. 60 bucks for peanut oil gets pricey fast!

Take a look into “Alabama White Sauce”.

  • 2 cups mayonnaise
  • ½ cup apple cider vinegar
  • 2 Tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 teaspoons ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons horseradish

I tend to up the cayenne and black pepper if its just me eating it, and sometime substitute Miracle Whip a little…for that tangy zip.
