6! There are 6!
UK Cheese: Stretching with tight bud sites and got a dose of Superthrive.
Manitoba Poison: Large fan leaves are globally yellowing as things come to a close so it got its first dose of Florakleen.
Autos Round 1: The last 4 are fattering up well and should be coming down this weekend.
Autos Round 2: All 8 plants have adjusted to the outside conditions well! It’s been mixed fors of brutal but the shade netting did it’s job. Yesterday was mostly cloudy so the netting was removed as they should be fine for full sun by now.
Hell yeah rhubarb! My family cooks it down in a double boiler, a little sugar but no starch (maybe I’ll try that some time) and serves it over vanilla ice cream. Good stuff!
Took some shots of the photoperiod plants yesterday at sundown
Manitoba Poison:
“Friendly Local Neighbourhood Pigeonman” for scale
UK Cheese:
The Manitoba Poison is coming down this week/next weekend; and the *UK Cheese:+1: as just starting showing sex
Thanks for stopping by and have a safe Saturday!
AUTOS ROUND 1 are now officially all cropped, washed and are hanging to drip dry over the bathtub with a fan until they go downstairs for the weeks long drying.
Some later…
I washed everything the same as I did last week’s batch; Lemon/BakingSoda/Water->Water->Water.
Creme de la Chem; such a beautiful plant.
Strawberry Shortcrack; is a frosty CHOAD.
Earth Lover CBD; second time growing this and it’s another pleasure to behold.
Trizzler F2; should have been cropped last week BEFORE the rains as of course I found (and cut out) the smallest bit of bud-rot in the massive crown bud!
It was washed very last.
And the group of them all looking dandy.
Other than the autos I also ended up cropping some: Oregano, Curly Parsley, Italian Parsley, & Catnip.
It’s cooking in the sun and then will end up in bowls to be de-stemmed and then jarred.
Cheers!
All your plants are amazing my friend! Love those trees! The Manitoba Poison buds are huge and sound awesome!
The Autos are looking fat and love the line up. Sorry I haven’t visited sooner. I enjoyed reading through and can’t wait to see how the UK Cheese turns out!
Nice fat chunky buds man, they look great
That bud is almost bigger than Celia
Is that room service for Celia? Or is she trying to trade with her ball?
She was warming my spot?
I had a Lab named Bear that loved fresh bud!. If I turned my back on a bud like that it would be gone. lol…also.had a pygmy goat that loved fan leaves and stem. We do like to recycle
MEGA UPDATE: IMAGE HEAVY!
Press play then scroll down to continue:
Outside is buzzing and things are doing as well as can be with the “new normal” weather we’ve been experiencing. I’m grateful outright that it’s no way as harsh here as it’s been in other places on the globe but time’s still are a changing.
Manitoba Poison; holly shit folks this thing is INSANE. My guess is chop is within’ the next week as it’s getting sparkly and the trichs keep on fogging.
SO MUCH FOX-TAILING!
UK Cheese; growing tall, growing stall, and growing like it wants to become a cluster of baseball bats .
Round 2 of the Autoflowers are doing better than round 1 at the same stage! The heat and length of day is much of the difference factor but we’ll see how it goes. As much as a fun experiment 2x auto runs has been, the end results of round 1 were mixed so my guess is I won’t be doing this again (even though it’s clearly doable).
Outdoors = Photoperiods only from now on as I can assure such better results indoors at 24/0 with much less soil and footprint.
Now up close 1:1.

The plants on the patio are happy with the sunshine and daily attention.
Aloe:

Blackoil Sunflower (planted by the birds):
Purple Hibiscus:
Rose of Sharon (Purple):
Guana Scotch Bonnet Pepper (6+ years old):
Sea Onion(s):
My “Walking grove above the underground river” is doing well. Sadly I lost both the Key Lime, Persian Lime, and Meyer Lemon. It was brutal but shit happens.
Bay tree; it’s bouncing back and needs to be up-potted.
Calamondin Orange:
Makrut Lime:
Pawpaw(s):
Ruby Red Grapefruit:
White Grapefruit (30+ years old):
Mrs. Pigeon’s rose arbour is solid and she’s been swearing every-day doing the dead-heading. ()
The backyard “in ground” plants are doing their thing. I’ve been focused on the cannabis mostly and the missus with her roses and the cats so somethings look poor by comparison to other years but we’re still happy about everything.
Blackberry: this was growing from the neighbours so I pulled it and will let it root out in water (bucket) and then plant it in the same spot when there’s enough rootlets to keep it alive.
Collard Greens & Tomatos:
Goji Berry:
Hops
Garden Huckleberries:
Hugelkultur: sunflowers planted by the birds.
Italian Parsley:
Dinosaur Kale:
Curley Parsley:
Pond:
Wild Grapes & Sunflowers: our wild grapes are growing back after being cut by the idiots nextdoor. I terraformed this entire side of the house with free wood chips with a log boarder (cherry logs from a neighbour) and about 30+ sunflowers both branching and giant all intended to be left to seed so that we can hope for a wall of sunflowers to not have to look at these fuckers mess next year.
Tomatos:
Year round “Turtle” Pond:
The front yard is intended to intimidate the neighbours and it does
Wildflower “Fuck-off” Wall*: these are all pollinator blooming plants that grow up to 8ft tall. I cut down the far left so the neighbour can pull out of the driveway safely.
Apple Tree: 6 types of apples:
Brugmansia(s):
The flowers grow nearly a foot long and can be smelled from the street. Here’s my hand for perspective.
Mulberry:
Butterfly Bush: it came back after the top got killed off from the winter’s brutality
Creeping Jenny:
??? Vine: i forget the name but it’s pretty and I’m letting it take over. The Cosmos is popping up all over as usual as well.
Honeysuckle: is getting established!
Besides the garden, the missus and I FINALLY got the chance to take the out onto the water for a sunrise paddle! We didn’t do much but we are on a great lake with a 4ft wide canoe that has NO KEEL so it’s always more involved than river paddling as the waves and wind make us have a workout.
We are working up to being able to enjoy any beach in our block by accessing it via the water.
All the best everyone and thanks so much for stopping on by!
@Pigeonman you deserve a fucking TROPHY for these legendary posts!!! music had me vibin
All your plants are amazing! Sorry to hear you lost a few. Man I wish I could smell those brugs! I need to take a little trip on the 401 lol.
Lol. I appreciate it @Oldtimerunderground !
One thing i do wonder is of these MEGAPOSTS are too much at once to scroll though? 10hrs up and only 3 people made it to the bottom so far
Nah man, I really enjoyed it too, takes a lot of time to put together a post like that. I wish my garden was half as prolific. And I really needed that music today too.
Trich shots of the Manitoba Poison; much cloud with some clear and no amber yet.
I’m going to “risk” the week of unstable weather with expectations of it coming down next Saturday.
Found a friend in the Manitoba Poison yesterday evening!
SADLY THE PLANT IS STARTING TO GET ATTACKED BY BUD ROT DUE TO DAYS OF NEAR 100% HUMIDITY!!!
Looks like chopping STARTS TONIGHT AFTER WORK so it’s gonna be a long and hard running day.
As the Q-bekker’s say: “Le fuck”.
Uuuuhhhhh for those of us non entomologist types, what is that friend???
So I don’t run screaming like a baby if I see one on my Goomah, ever!!!
Yes, “le fuck!” That sucks!
