You can typically tell by the calyxs that take on a swollen more rounded shape, also eventually the pistils go orange and die back.

Super interesting. I always assumed the pistils died and browned tip inward. But looking at your pic it actually looks to be base upward. Makes sense though based on what I’m going on inside.
the pistils do die, its just on some they take awhile before they do, so the orange pistil thing isn’t always a sure tell sign but definitely the easiest of indicators apart from the calyx swelling

Day 51 still a long way to go for seeds, actually found one ripe one which probably was from some stray pollen before Christmas as it was one of the lower most node calyxs otherwise we have a good 3+ weeks still.

Well $hit took a closer look on monday as things weren’t adding up and plucked a few calyxs the pollen i collected likely spoiled i believe as there isn’t anything forming.
Took the rest of that pollen and crop dusted them and also took some older pollen as backup that would pair well and dusted them with it as well though with how old the older pollen is i don’t expect there to be much or any uptake of it.
So these may just end up becoming smoke plants in a couple weeks, guess 2022 may want me to start anew.

Yeah dud pollen oh well hash then, best laid plans…
Also trying to dial in this jack’s i was getting some nutrient burn thus why i was downscaling the ec of the feed just by diluting with water down into the 1.6 and lower range from 2.0 though checked run off on one of the plants yesterday it was an astonishingly high ec of 5.3, with Megacrop the plants would of be torched so theres that and im impressed that they didn’t burn and die which i would of expected otherwise. So far im liking it better than MC 1 and or there 2part i wasn’t a fan of.

day 60 and back to regular day updates, did some defoliation yesterday and will just be waiting till they finish and monitoring res and runoff ec to see what needs to happen.

Amazing! there’s no room for stems! All taken by buds!! What good feeding, watering, lighting and knowledge can do!! Are their roots going through and out from the bottom of the pots to the reservoir!? Pardon my ignorance!! Awesome @Mr.Sparkle !!!

These not so much typically the plants in these pot sizes would be 2-3 times the size, just with issues and very late transplant on purpose they have kept small in relative terms.

Day 67 The remaining plant is just on water now and i still expect it to be a good week plus till its done.
