I’m getting smooth scrolling on iOS, MacOS (with trackpad) and PC (with mouse). It is really fluid on the new iPhone. One of the best websites to navigate that I’ve found.
It’s punctuating the looping “let’s talk about only the same thing : an hidden membership that doesn’t look like one”. Just saying, straight, the big picture i’m seeing from here.
I mean, even for just the sake of the curiosity, we can maybe explore more than one single option ?
A bunch of others satellite places too. Privatizing something that don’t belong to anyone but the users is stopping the quality production radically ^^
OG in bonus is a singularity in its actual state, it make me think more to a kind of Facebook of canna than really an early 2000’s board. Behind the “follow member” function presented not so a long time ago, i guess that i’m not far from the “vision” of the crew for the future of the platform.
True, that’s one reason. Another is that they could have at least invest a bit in the hosting to have a decent fast website now that it’s behind a paywall. It’s soooo slooooow.
Me to but Joe mentioned above that the ability to read flagged posts was never supposed to be a thing. When things went off topic I used to just post a reminder to try to steer things back on topic. Others have a different style and prefer to just run through and flag anything they feel is off topic. Personally I find when I see a thread carpet bombed with flags it makes me less likely to want to have a conversation and not more likely but that’s a personal thing. I think an interesting addition could be to to show the person who flagged each post even though the content of the post is hidden. I wouldn’t mind that being something added for the future.
Probably best not to. As much as I would like the feature, it would likely lead to negativity. You would end up with people unhappy, feeling that they were being censored, and then they would have a place to send that negativity. It would also likely keep folks from using the flag system which is not good either as it does have a purpose. I will withdraw my request for that feature, upon thinking about it, it would not be a positive addition.
I’ve seen it used when discussing sports events, movie, current topics, books, things like that. So as not to spoil it for people who don’t want it spoiled.
Then what’s the point of seperating by thread (subject) and subforum? Why not just use the new lounge, aka chat feature to discuss everything in one huge post?
Probably save alot of bandwidth, but would suck for those trying to follow a topic no?
Yea it’s a nice feature, we all smoke weed and get chatty about current events, movies stuff like that. Some people may want to experience whatever it is first hand before discussing it.
I see the plug in is there along with a few other interesting ones.
