@Papalag is @Slick1 even gonna be able to hang with us? I got a feeling he’s gonna be a 2 hit and quit guy… Maybe we need to find him a low thc strain, baby steps Roll him some spliffs and mix in some tabacky… Or… just get some entemans cookies and tell him they are infused. He’d likely still feel something LOL
Damn bro I don’t even get a buzz unless the edibles are at least 100 ml and then I’m still not there yet
Oh well more for us
And sure he can hang with us we al need a Designated driver
Dang they are tall, how tall is the tent?
It’s only 60 inches but the Octopots are 20 inches so 40 inches for plant and lights
It’s always a struggle lol
My tolerance is trash these days and sadly your joking estimate is about right. I actually haven’t been smoking a lot at all for awhile now, just doing small edible doses daily. When I said I would be cooked on 40 I mean COOKED. I’m pretty sure it has a lot to do with the fatigue issues I’ve been dealing with for awhile now too though. On any given day I have some disorientation going on completely sober.
Did a little sample of the Chocolate Thai tonight (cured one month). Tastes dry and hay like still but a few hits of a joint were pretty nice!
Well we started off this entry with a rip of some black delato smooth and a damn nice buzz
In the small tent
The bubble monkey got defoliated a wee bit
And I added 2 room mates the skunk 1 x mazer cross is in small pots and will be weaved into the scrog net I’ll give the tent may be 10 days then flip to 12/12
Ideally the skunk 1 x black delato will sex by that time and take there place on the other side
Day 27 from flip
3 of the 4 plants are drinking at a fast rate
The smaller of the BM is just taken her time feeding
The smaller BM I raised to help her even out the canopy
The 2 HB xGB : most of her branches needed to be super cropped trying to keep an even canopy and keep them from hitting the lights . you may notice their leave are raised up almost praying to me this could be a sign of heat stress, so I raised the fan to the top of the canopy
Sometimes I hate growing… Sorry, a little off subject, but I swear I’ve heard different people mention “praying” leaves as a sign of a) Happy, healthy plants that are getting everything they need; b) Magnesium deficiency; and c) Heat stress. I wish they’d just learn to write already so they could leave me instructions every morning… reading their leaves is starting to feel as useless as reading tea leaves except you don’t even get a cup of tea out of it.
Sorry again, your grow is looking very nice. To my inexperienced eyes, they do look happy and healthy. I guess the light is probably a little close to the tops though, just not enough room in there. Of course, if there were more room there’d be more plants and there still wouldn’t be enough room…
@Cormoran , Praying looks nice and sounds happy ( praying ) but this is deceiving bro science , it is a sign that they are getting too much light and or heat for stage / age they in , that is why the top fans are doing what they doing , avoiding the light : )
Mag is a new one , deffo not that : )
Ok, that makes sense. To be fair, magnesium was called “praying” but it was a different behavior, the leaves were curling their edges upwards in a boat shape. So when the top leaves are pointing upwards, that’s heat/light stress and they need more room or the lights need to be lowered? I assume this only applies to the fully-formed top leaves though, the very new ones in veg are always pointing upwards… either that, or I’m always using too much light.
