@tejas @DougDawson @MoBilly @Spitfire @ShiskaberrySavior @Emeraldgreen @HeadyBearAdventures @LedZeppelin @SkunkHunt101 could you all possibly leave feedback for me, I havenāt had much action on there for a while and would like to have people who look me up know things are still rolling out good. So if you have received anything from me please leave some sort of feedback, much appreciated all you great ogers. https://overgrow.com/t/pawsfodocaws-trade-feedback/30456
So what would you do if your two weeks into flip and your apple fritter might have started throwing nanners?! Fuck me!!!. Is this a blessing in disguise? A bunch of fem apple fritter beans? Or a chop drop, and start over situation? I am not happy with what seems to be happening. Iām 75% sure they are bannaners and Iām waiting for more battery on the phone to take flash pics once I turn off my lamp. Wtf! I need buds ,not seed.
Letās see how it goes with the pic bro ā¦I know this exact feeling ā¦not with a cut though
Iām about to go take them. First time it happened on the cutā¦also nothing literally nothing has been different. Except I used two scrog nets. Same soil same water/ cal mag. And same nutes. Idk wtf happened if they nannrd outā¦pics coming in the next 15 mins
Hey bro ā¦with all respect ā¦I think pics without a flash and better focus towards the problem would help distinguish what we r looking atā¦I can see clusters of yellow reflected by the flash but can get a good zoom in on it
Hey no problem man, my phone sucks. Iāll take some more, they are going to be hps though I hope that doesnāt mess them up to much. I donāt have to hold glasses in front of them, thanks man. Iām freaking.
Just take it easy man ! ā¦if yah gotta start over thatās the worse/best partā¦some nanners can be nonviable but it doesnāt seem likely to be nanners if you have grown the same cut ā¦but Iām no scientist lol
I bought a new fone specifically for a camera ā¦fucking think is junkkkkk bro
My brother has better eyes heās going to look em over. My phone wonāt take good pics itās brand new. Fucking hate this phone.
I couldnāt see anything definitive in the photos but these two donāt look good to me.

Sometimes you can get pale growth at the tips during periods of extremely rapid growth. If this is the case, the growth will normalize. it will quickly get darker in color and pop pistils.
If it is a herm, just save yourself the headache and chop it down. The seeds wonāt be any good.
Is this one of the large mothers that you are flowering out? or just a small clone?
Sometimes stress during veg can be the culprit. If it was stressed during rooting, or an old mother, that could be the problem. If they were rootbound that could be a contributing factor.
Regardless of the cause, if itās a definite herm, chop it.
And there is no reason to assume this will happen again next time you flower a clone of this cut. Likely just due to whatever stress this specific individual has been through.
Its on two of the clones. My brother couldnāt tell to well this early so Iām going to wait a bit to see Iāf they develop more into nanners.
They really look like pollen sacks starting to form. If they show more Iām chopping any with nanners. Darn. I started new moms as well btw.
Being as this is my last run at my current place. I will be growing them to their full glory nonetheless present with seeds. Iām going to do a straight bubble hash batch with the whole of the end product if its packed full of beans. Otherwise Iām hoping like @zephyr said it may be a sign of some rapid growth. From what I can tell on one of the plants he posted he had concerns aboutā¦ after looking at it up close for the 15th time. Iām more and more convinced that it had hermedā¦ dangit!!! I donāt know if the seeds would be any good at all the apple fritter seemed to have hermed. Thereās 4 or so of them and 2 mac1 in thereā¦would the seeds have any viability or be worth it at all?
If seeds produced by a herm pollination get ripe, they will probably be viable. But they wonāt be worth growing. The resulting seeds will be herm bombs. The offspring will be very unstable, especially the s1 self seeded offspring from the plant that hermed.
Fem seeds are one thing, they are deliberately triggering a herm using chemicals. But if it is genetic or a stress response, there is very little potential in those genetics.
Iām going with the rapid growth opinion also.
Thanks I hope itās just rapid growth!.. hoping hardā¦!
I used to have a pair of black cherry soda s1 cuts selected from fem seeds that always had yellow growth tips from rapid growth. You see that when bud and calyx growth outpaces chlorophyll production, and pistil development. Iām hoping that is all thatās going on here.
Same here it is going to be the third week of flower on Sunday. Iām waiting for tomorrow to be able to tell more easily. Crossing my fingers, toes and eyes. Only reason I point out third week is I would imagine more growth on buds at this point.
I also noticed that the yellow is much more pronounced at the end of the dark cycle beginning of the light cycle
I really hope thatās what it is it would suck to loose that much smoke. kinda on edge and going to be for a little while. I try not to buy bud, and I usually harvest enough to go between harvest within my limit and all.
I have been looking at them more and more also with a loupe. I have noticed the yellow cluster look like all the little green spikes in the buds. They are on most of all the fritter buds starting usually in the center of the nug. Iām thinking like mentioned above they may be plant matter other than balls or nanners that have not had much chlorophyll deposited in them yet. Iām really hopefull. Thanks for the input @zephyr @Emeraldgreen
I canāt get any real good photos, apparently this phone sucks hard. . Anyways the little yellow formations look like smal pistils with a striking yellow color. They are all on they buds closest to the lamp. Either they did not get chlorophyll for some reason or they are in a state of bleachingā¦? Iām not sure but they are not hermed out like I had been scared of. Atleast thatās what I can tell with my loupe. Still very hopeful Iām right and they are just funny flower formations.
