I agree, that’s one hell of a price. I would love to roll and sell them. Unfortunately a license here is required. I’m not looking for that trouble  . I think I’ll have what you suggested tonight :smirk:

Ok so now I have a question for those of you growers that bend and pinch stems… I don’t know the exact term. I was watering the plants earlier and felt the top of a nug 2 inches away from my 600 watt hps lamp. This one and another have grown past the lamp. The lamp is maxed out. So I thought ehh wth. I bent the stems over and didn’t snap them, I’ve done this on accident before and they developed knuckles. Will it impede the bud formation from bend up? Did I mess them up? Hope not. They were getting fried. So I figured it was worth a shot.

BRO
I’ve been doing it to the plants in my current run …soooo much …they recover over night .I’d bend them a little more almost to a 90 …for the ones that can’t pick themselves up I made a fancy clip that supports them I’ll post pics tomorrow around dinner time !

“”“you’ll notice a knuckle forming at the bend; this is a good thing as it’s a sign of healing and can help strengthen the stem. This process is similar to the way we build muscle in which our bodies work to repair damaged muscle fibers. By damaging the plant, you are triggering its defense mechanism and promoting increased nutrient uptake as it works to repair the damage. This stress increases the plant’s ability to deliver nutrients to the top nodes on that branch, while opening the lower branches to more light.”""

100% What Rabeats said…
Even though i haven’t done that in flowering, i do it throughout the veg stage to maintain the canopy and strengthen the stems, the plant comes back stronger than ever :muscle:

If you Google “super cropping” you’ll get a bunch of results. Many folks roll the stem between their thumb and fingers until it crunches a bit, so they can flop the branch without snapping it.
They’re looking happy as hell!

Right on that’s kind of what I thought it was. I just bent it gently until it wanted to go over and a put a slight pinch into it. And it bent over. Worked well. They grew too tall. I can’t raise the light anymore. And I don’t have my extension for my tent installed ATM. :upside_down_face: thanks everyone I’m glad I didn’t mess em up. I’m lit as hell, and had a half thought of remembering seeing it done. So I did it. Glad it was a good move. :+1:

Thanks man! I’ll look more into it. They are growing really well. Vigorously stacking nuggage and very thirsty lately. Lots of frost happening. Looking forward to a nice haul.

Looks great. I love bending. I get all the benefits of topping without the stunting
You won’t have any problems with what you described

Right on that’s good. Currently it’s just a waiting game and watering them. I hope the buds swell like last time. It was freaking gorgeous the fade they throw as well, I forget when it happens but it will throw an awesome fade. The mac1 will as well. I can’t see the one in the back that well. But I have a small one in the front that is covered in frost. Double or more than what is on the fritter. It looks like you could take lines off the mac1…

I just got the apple fritter. My buddy said it’s better than wedding cake. Got to get the snips into some vermiculite.
How is the Mac?
