So the wife has a couple of each of these
I have been thinking about repurposing for account of small cabinets with SILs.
Any thoughts on why this may not be a good idea?

It says fluorescent. SILs would be more efficient IME

What do the sockets look like? If they’re standard size you should be able to swap out for SILs.

5 sockets on the one with the fuse and switches and 4 sockets in the other all standard size…
Planning on using SLIs.
