Phylos - I cant believe this!

Some, I’d guess most don’t.

That’s why I don’t buy any of their weed haha

It’s not all of a sudden, it’s a slow process towards the future. That’s my point.

They choose to buy those varieties. Is every culture supposed to just grow what’s naturally growing around forever? All plants we consume have been selectively bred. Wheat, corn, rice, tomatoes…everything.

Besides, Cannabis covers the Himalayas. A few thousand Dutch plants won’t change anything.

If its been illegal, why does the change in regulations all of a sudden matter? Are you all of a sudden going to become a rule follower?

Yes, exactly my point. What a douche. He once equated weed with murder.

They are given them by Dutch seed companies. They don’t buy anything

I’m sure they forced them to grow them, too, eh? Jamaican farmers bought Dutch varieties because they flowered faster and had better yields of stronger product.

It isn’t wrong to do so. People can grow whatever they want.

Because legalizing it changes everything. Way more penalties now that it’s legal and way and they can charge you with so much more. So yes I follow way more rules now that is legal then when I was an outlaw. Canadas laws for illegal production since legalization are much more harsh.

It’s true. I plan to visit a weed farm in St Lucia and from what I can tell it’s half cookies.

How is there more penalties now than before?

If you’re following the rules and going lock step with the government then aren’t you part of the problem?

Because before it was legal they could only charge you with certain things. Now that it’s legal the list of offences is much longer with harsher penalties

Like what exactly?

For me what used to mean jail now means a fine or at least a finger waggling.

That’s so much worse.

If you try and sell something that the government sells without permission you are now a bootlegger as well. Tax evasion, yup. The list goes on

Tax evasion was always on the table, that’s not new.

For old folks like me the changes in law mean nothing except for a nicer cost benefit analysis.
