This is what Celia does throughout the day when I’m at work when she hears something and thinks it’s me coming home. :sob:  She’s staring at the door.

Celia’s fav. game:

""laying on her back in my lap and flailing her paws wildly while biting and chewing my hand."

I literally just hold it out (my hand) and she does all the rest. It’s a great massage considering I have some mega calloused hands  .

  :dog:  :dog:

60 yrs of age is this old dog, but my babies have been many, 16 dogs, seven cats and burying 15 dogs and two cats so far, has been the hardest moments of my life. Humans are not worthy of there gifts. In General.

My newest baby from middle of a construction site, almost killed that day.|

I gotta agree… But the price we pay for that unconditional love is the short life they lead… I’d give 10 yrs of my life to add 10 to my boys… He’s that much a part of the family…

To make his life comfortable as possible,I had to carry my last dog to the vet to get put asleep after having cancer as well,

Don’t know if I’m going to get another one after he goes just stick the the one dog.
I always say that lol

Alrighty, folx, this one’s going to be a bummer…

Marley was diagnosed with osteosarcoma last Friday. The vet is NOT recommending amputation of the affected leg due to Mar‘s size and age (100lbs and 9yrs old). Essentially, we are doing palliative end-of-life care. After three doses of Rimadyl poor old Marley developed severe diarrhea and it has taken nearly the whole week for her to start recovering from that. My husband and I have decided to start treating her with cannabis and bypass the synthetic pharmaceuticals. She doesn’t have the time for people to fart around trying this and that. I asked the vet about using cannabis and she said if we can get a hold of it, it’s definitely worth trying.

It just so happens I have 3:1 CBD:THC edibles on hand. A 3mg CBD:1mg THC dose has worked so far without zonking her out. However, I’m worried about overtaxing her liver with the edible. So, it just so happens, I have some flower on hand…. How do I go about getting Mar to inhale and not freak her out? Has anyone treated their dog with cannabis? How did you dose it? Is there a thread on this somewhere? I did a quick search and may have missed it. Thank you for any advice you can offer.

Here‘s a photo of Marley as tax…
