July 4 2024 I went out to water the front garden… I found this.
Give it to my daughter, cause she likes possums.
Feeding puppy milk with eye dropper ( cause possums don’t suckle ) and mashed banana.
So now I got a grandbaby possum, that I have to babysit when she goes to work… this idea is not working out like a I thought it would.

The big black dog is named boy, the little squishy faced pug, beagle, boxer, sweet sweet little tiny teeny mutant dog is Leia and the grey torby colored cat is named Tegan. Unfortunately we don’t have any human children of our own yet, but our animals fill in the space just fine and of course they’re spoiled rotten like no other. I wouldn’t have it any other way.

we have a possum that occasionally visits our yard (big city busy streets). We’ve named him Patrick. Patrick O’possum. spotted him last summer a few times.

I am an impostor. This is the real IVY.
It had been a couple of years since my dog died & I was finally ready to find a new buddy. I was keeping my eyes open for a dog & signed up w/ a few recues, but life had different plans. I found her at 6 weeks old with a broken leg tangled up in ivy (both english and poison varieties) and brambles… stinking like all hell.
When I was signing up here and trying to decide what name to use, I was just about to use my old dogs name, but the cat ran across the room, jumped up on my chest, gave me a clawless smack to the face, and ran… then peeked around the corner to see if I was going to return the favor.
I flipped a coin to determine if her name would be Stinky or Ivy. Luckily for both of us, Stinky lost.
