All honor to our mildews worst nightmare @JoeCrowe
awwww yah! Well my friend killed off his colony and now he’s planning on his next murder scene. Wants to wipe out the colony on the peas! I warned him the pea mildew was harboring on some invasive species. He said you never see mildew in the woods. I think with a good spraying all over the fucking place, it should finish off the mildew. If you create a large enough area that is mildew free, it should take a long time to come back.
Can I just shake and spray the 90% micronized solution all over the grow tent on the inside of it, and on the fabric, and the surrounding area without making it permanently yucky, or what do you do after you spray everything? just vacuum and mop and its all clean again, or does it leave some kind of nasty residue forever? I’m newb, plz help
Aren’t the spores all over the surrounding area, and the whole place needs to be sprayed? If I have a tent in the attic and there’s a woody floor kind of area around it, don’t I need to spray the plants, the inside of the tent, the reflector hoods, the inside of the exhaust vents, spray my carbon filter, the outside of the tent, the whole 4 meter vicinity, and the footprints leading out into the next room? or is it that extreme?
Naw, the plant material is where the mildew is. It’s definitely not on your lights or filters or laying around in the corners of your tent, or even on your shoes. Once you spray the plants themselves, it finishes off the mildew. Sulfur and water for best coverage, because just sulfur powder isn’t as effective.
If sulfur is unavailable I’ve had good success with a heavy dose of ozone.
ozone will work, but I caution against it due to the fact it’s deadly to humans and also you can’t use it outdoors.
Tomorrow I’ll start the warm part of the seed sprouting phase. All the seeds that won’t sprout have rotted away, leaving only the good ones behind. It’s been well over 8 weeks! I should have put it in the freezer, that’s faster.
