I never grew with them and I’ve got no idea how well they worked. Lots of Amazon LEDs listings use to be the purple led kind. Anyone grow with them still? Anyone swear by the purple glow? Feel free to post your purple LED grow if you got one.

I use a small one in the winter. They will grow plants.

I used to use one for clones but switched to an hlg 90 watter. So far it’s going better.

Been using them for years with great results. I have a good collection of Amazon LEDs some blurple some white along with MH HPS

Maxsisun blurple I’ve used pretty regularly since 2016 always a plant favorite. Was state of the art back then with dimmer knob and UV haha. Other one is $20 dual switch blurple old school loud ass built in fan

There was also the rise of COB LEDs around 2017/2018 which were cool but kind of inefficient and people caught on to just build the damn things themselves. As you can tell I’m passionate ab my blurples and tested a ton from Amazon a while back

I still have my old vipers from 17/18 ish. As well as the older hps setup. If I were to do another indoor grow, I’d still use the old led tech. Worked fine for my tent… Tho mine were more blue heavy

They work. If it’s what you’ve got they’re fine to use.
I wouldn’t buy a new one though.
