@Qtip i always have mikado going in my grows. besides the good high it gives to me the real reason i keep it going is it just kicks pain’s ass! stress & depression too. gives me a good nights sleep too. people are always after me for some. i don’t really have any experience with block head, but it sure looks like a good cross. do you know why it was crossed to blockhead? like yield or effect? both or perhaps just because. keep enjoying the grow.

I’m currently growing the cross of BH x M it’s excellent smoke not sure which one’s bringing the fire to that strain as I’ve never grown either on it’s own .

i have gotten / had a lot of nice things from mr beanhorder over the years. good stuff great prices. have read his information about blockheads. i always wanted to try his blockhead and big freeze stuff. this thread made me think of beanhorder when reading about this blockhead mikado cross. thanks for the info.

All the results have exceeded my expectations. From the samples I’ve been blessed with, the progeny is even better than either parent on its own. Definitely the highlight of my seed production last year.

I’m smoking the last joint of some right now that @Neb was kind enough to send me. My wife and I love it. The smoke helped tremendously after moving. I was in severe pain and it’s been really helping to ease my suffering and relieve the stress.

@Oldtimerunderground you got that right. i deal with pains of my own from doing finger to the bone, back breaking labor since i was 7yrs old. couple more years and i will be a senior citizen. it was crazy magic when i first grew and smoked mikado. i knew nothing about this strain other than mikado “may refer to Emperor of Japan” i was like wow never had Japanese weed before gotta give that a try. i am very happy i met the emperor of japan. when i first starting smoking this it was just amazing magic. good head buzz but the real deal for me was like wow, knee does not hurt, neck does not hurt, back does not hurt. the release of mental stress & fatigue from pain was immense. i said “dam have not felt this good since i can remember” i could move with ease pain free just taking in a breath felt good… YEE HA lets go dancing before this wear off lol. good meds for sure.

Mini sip window box with tobacco and autos (sunset vibes) from @WubbaLubbaDubDub as well as onions and aloe Vera. I plan to move the big tobacco outside if it ever warms up.

Do you think the onions would have an effect on the flavour of any of the remaining plants in the planter?

Probably a decent chance, the onion roots are dominating the grow medium, the tobacco and weed will likely give it a run though. Insects never bother tobacco or onions. I intend to keep the autos very tiny, less than 6"

Really a phenomenal plant, I’m looking forward to doing a clone run with it because I seem to do better with my style using clones vs plant from seed.
