Question for those with AC infinity tents

Vivosun were dirt cheap when i got a 2x4 for my friend. They came with really nice high cfm bars included. Pretty sure you won’t get that from gorilla. At least I didn’t back when.
I had to buy 2 sets for each tent for 20 bones per.

Yeah its like an $80 item… cheap af.

I’ll probably give this ACI tent a run and just buy a GG or SF 80"+ if I end up needing more room. I went all AC infinity accessories I kind of want to try their tent with it just to see it all work together. I got the High CFM bar add-on, trellis net, with the controller 99 and all that.

Gorilla has a lot of different stuff out right now- They have their “all new line” at $150 for a 2x4, their original line at $285 for a 2x4 and a “lite” line that seems to be discontinued… with a shitload of bad reviews talking about light leakage, etc. I originally had the GG tent ordered but backed off it after reading bad reviews.

I’m mounting the fan and filter outside so Ii should be alright- i’ll crop them down and keep them bushy

I got my tent in today and it didnt come with a tray for the bottom- any suggestions? I cant seem to find anything 2x4 on Amazon … I don’t care what brand it is.

except maybe this:

but not in stock… hmm… I’ll have to check home Depot I guess

What like the removable spill liner? If it came missing that I’d petition the seller for the missing part.if it’s a hard plastic tray I would think an ebb and flow tray would come in 2x4 but I’m not sure.

You could also do with individual disc trays for individual plants.

I run a 2x4 also. I have a large heavy duty boot tray that is very useful but not in the size you require. Still very useful.

It depends on why you want to use it really. My thinking was just to catch runoff.

I think I was just confused and thought it came with a plastic tray. All good so excited to put it up tomorrow, hvac gets here on Monday got 3 or 4 sprouts started… want a few more in case of males.

I like to start 3x what I intend to eventually use. This accounts for males, runts, mutants and minor selections based on what I think looks best.

Best of luck.

You could go the two pan route and have a little more flexibility.

I use the round oil drip pans sometimes… the cheap ones from the auto parts store… 3 or 4 bucks a piece, about 15" wide and the sides are taller. You could fit three of them in there… kinda depends on if you’re looking to go the one tray per plant route.

I recently switched to autopots but in the past I’ve just used basic plastic plant saucers under the pot in case of drainage and they’ve always done the job.

I will say that having the floor liner (or whatever you want to call it) with my GGT is really helpful after a grow to be able to remove it, dump all the debris off of it, and then wash it off and put it back down.

I assume it did come with a separate liner? Generally they don’t come with plastic trays. I know vivosun sells spare liners for pretty cheap.

I put down a couple of taped together garbage bags which I throw out after so I don’t have to clean anything.

It’s also an extra layer of leak protection.

Thank you for that… I was having this exact discussion last night and told my wife well I won’t really know until I actually do this a few times so having more right now is better than having too little.

Do you ever try to clone off the females and include the clones in the same flower run? Only running one tent right now

Yeah I’m sure it did , it’s still all folded up - going to put it up today.

I like it, thankb you for the link… I’d probably paint them white and be good to go

No prob. Just a heads up, you’ll have a “seam” where the two pans meet in the middle of the tent… like a ridge where you won’t be able to set a pot. Just something to consider; it might end up being a pain in the butt.
