Question to those in the US selling seed

What’s up guys, so I had a question to those who live in the US and sell seed.
What sorts of steps have you gone through to ensure legitimacy selling seed?
I live in a legal state, and I know there are people in my state with seed businesses, but what I don’t know are the details. As far as I can tell there’s no license specific to breeding and seed sales.
It makes me think that breeding/selling is strictly a gray area thing?

Share your experience in regards to this topic. Thanks

Might help if you disclosed the state you live in. That would go a long way towards ensuring you get good info that applies to you.

2018 Farm Bill says seeds are legal. Same as any seeds.

Yeah, sure. I live in WA state.

So they’d be treated as Hemp seed? As the seeds themselves don’t contain any THC? I’ve heard of people saying something along these lines.

No detectable THC in seed, therefore fully legal to distribute. Hasn’t been a major court case or anything, though, since what, Emery?

With the 100 different US seedbanks operating, I think you got nothing to worry about.

Seed-selling is perfectly legal. Growing, on the other hand, isn’t, depending where you are. That’s why Seed Seller doesn’t give out any information regarding germinating or growing. In fact, most have a disclaimer. SS/BW…mister :honeybee: :100:
