Not really first, I grew crap weed with poor soil and lights from bag seeds 2x in the 90s. But this is my first real grow.
Grow notes:
- 2x Feminized white widow photos.
- 32x32 tent
- Ocean forest soil and FF nutes
- germinated 9/26/21 under 2 blurple viparspectra v300s
- Switched to Mars Hydro TS1000 about 3-4 weeks in
- HST on one plant LST on the other
- chopped on new years eve
*Total dry yield (still curing so could change a bit) 55 grams bud, 13 grams shake.
Things i know I can do better:
- Monitor PH early on, I had a phosphorus uptake issue just before flower and again a couple weeks in that I think was from soil and water pH being around 7.
- Do better with training, trimming and scrogging. I was less aggressive with training and trimming than I should have been.
- Wait a little longer before harvest. Due to the phosphorus issue, I chopped a bit soon, fearing that it would reach the buds, but I think at that point most of what I was seeing was not nute issues, but just fall color. I could have gone at least 3-7 days more before chop.
