Did you adjust your light recently, they seem to be sprouting a lot of new pistils on the top buds.
I find if I mess with my light in the latter stages, and it gets a bit closer all of a sudden, they sometimes fox tail and start producing fresh pistils.

a dose of flower fertilizer at the end will do that also

Na I raised them all the way up about 5 weeks ago or so but these are both purple genetics which tend to foxtail genetically as opposed to non purple strains which foxtail for reasons you’re talking about. It’s funny you bring it up though because I was worried that i did something wrong to cause it but ended up looking into it and apparently genetics with purple lineage genetically foxtail as opposed to it being caused by certain stresses

Yeah I find some strains are more prone to doing it. It doesn’t make much difference, other than making trimming a bit more difficult if they get really pronounced. Then they just get snipped off and used as an early tester smoke

I’m overall happy with the results. All shortcomings were definitely self inflicted but really excited to just take what I’ve learned and make my next one better. My next round I’ll be doing peyote forum (peyote purple x forum cut gsc) and the legendary pre 98 bubba kush

I really appreciate that. I’ve had plenty of shortcomings but they were all my own fault. Good thing is that I’ve recognized the problems and already know what I’ll do differently. I just aim to keep learning as much as I can from everyone.

Well I shut the lights down for the last 48 hours and have started prepping for my next round. Final product pics will be coming in the next 10 days give or take

I just started a bubba kush and a peyote forum. The peyote forum sprouted in 72 hours from soak but the bubba kush is being bubba kush and taking g her time lol. I’ll be doing a grow diary thread for them

My first grow 15 yrs ago looked nothing like yours. Lol
I waited to flip to flower once my super skunk was about 3ft tall. I was flowering under 150w hps 
.
Basically I had a 6ft tall lanky plant with nothing but popcorn buds. Then to top it off i harvested way to soon and quick dried it and smoked. Lmao
After that I quickly discovered I need help and resources and thats when I discovered overgrow

Lol that’s great!! This has been the hardest part of the whole thing testing my patience is right now during drying and then you gotta cure

I’m actually drying right now…60% humidity and 70 degrees. I would like it just a bit cooler but thats not an option atm. These days curing is much easier than it used to be. No more burping jars just dry your buds and jar them with a boveda humidity packs and check them once every couple days for the 1st week.

Yeah I’m drying too but I’m at 51% and 72 degrees. But they dont seem to be drying out too fast. Just keeping a close eye on em

I know. I think you misunderstood my wording. I was saying in defense of my hunidity and temp that they aren’t drying out to fast. Not like I’m wanting them to dry fast
