Rats 24' crop

Howdy OGer’s,

It’s been a while since I’ve been online, kinda fell of the map for a bit.

Just transplanted this years crop out into the garden and thought I would post a few green-porn shots.

  1. Mountain Gold. (Oaxacan Gold x Hawaiian Sativa from the old Federation strain). Hands down the prettiest plant I’ve ever grown. Easy grower, very sturdy with a sweet tropical almost syrupy scent. Really looking forward to seeing her mature.

  2. Weighted Blanket. (Tony Green Sour Bubble repro). This girl is thick as a brick and very piney smelling

  3. Lastly Coastal Blueberry. Old school Columbia blueberry hash plant. This plant just want to be a lollipop. Super sweet smell as well. Really vigorous grower, very dense folliage.

Mind if I join!? Looks like a great start to the show. Whats the flower time on that Mountain Gold!? Best of luck on the journey!:green_heart:

Allegedly (haven’t grown before), its fairly early for a Sativa dominate strain. Mid Sept is what I’m reading.

Will see, I’m okay with mid October as we get a lot of breezy dry weather in this part of CA during the fall.

Updates to the 24’ grow. Despite the heat, 24’ has proven to be a good year. So far (with prayers to the gods) bugs have not been a problem and the weather looks dry for the remainder of October.

PS: I tried something new this year, and I want to give a shout out. This grow was 100% homegrown compost (w/chicken manure from in laws) + Build-a-Bloom (during flowering) from Build a Soil folks. Wanted to go au natural this year, so far the results are exactly what I wanted.

Moutain Gold:

As usual, the Sativas just seem to like our West County Sonoma weather. She is a beast with big fat colas that are almost black now. Probably going to harvest this week depending on the heat.

Coastal Blueberry: I’m really excited to taste this one. The buds haven’t fattened out as I expected, but are dense and rock hard. Not too stinky until you pinch a bud, then it is super sweet and almost syrupy. I get a bit of blueberry.

Weighted Blanket (Tony G’s Sour Bubble repro)

So I didn’t get any black phenotype plants out of my pack but every female has turned out amazing. I’ll post some pics of my buddies plants at the bottom. Huge dense stinky buds and a total pleasure to grow in the West Co Sonoma coastal climate.

Couple bonus photos. These are Weighted blanket females I gave to a buddy to grow. He is of the school of thought that he hyper feeds his plants to get maximum yield and potency. Not my thing but full props to his growing skills, he produces huge crops every year.
