RAW Lawsuit, bad for business

So, now it’s RAW Chemicals? lol

My last purchase was a box of 50 pre-roll cones from OCB. Pretty cool.

The 4 sides of the inner box make little mini trays to load the pot into the cone. It works pretty good.

black OCB or smoking Reds. Tried the RAW papers a long time ago and they burned crappy…crazy how fraudulent they apparently are

Raw papers have always sucked and Josh is a total weirdo with pedo vibes like a mofugga

Thanks for the heads up, @Jinglepot. I’m not in to smoking poison. I’m glad I know now.

Thats it! I knew the liquor had a part…and then after the reboiler its turned back into white liquor and reused, right?

I’m a boilermaker, but as I said I’ve yet to work a shutdown at a pulp/paper mill and we only just touched on the subject in school. I paid more attention to the refinery side of things as i had just come from the drilling side of the industry and was curious how it worked after we got the black gold out of the ground.

I remember the stories from my friends dad’s who worked at the mill talking about how all the lines dripped all over and you had to watch out for the caustics and such lol. And I recall a guy who worked the settling ponds got a flesh eating infection from the water. Poor guy.

That old mill site was used as a laydown yard for LNG Canada for a bit and now has one of their work camps (civeo :face_vomiting::sneezing_face:). The mill itself is still standing.

Holy f*ck man, you’re lucky. Chlorine and ammonia…thats got to be an awful way to go. There’s been a few incidents over the last few years in BC and Alberta due to those

WOW. Raw was my brand! I still have half a box of em in the back, though I don’t roll half as much as I used to. I wonder which brand of papers is the “ethical choice” if you wanna get quality long papers. Honestly here in Europe RAW was always one of the best papers you could burn.

Though I never trusted that cool jay, way too much of a rich businessman kind of guy to be an honest fellow, that kind of vibe if you ask me…

turns the black liquor to green liquor which after going through the lime plant goes back to white liquor to be used again.

I took care of all the black liquor spray nozzles which was essentially spraying caustic tar at 180c or so and the subsequent molten liquor runoff which was 800+c, was interesting if the steam break up nozzles weren’t quite right and you got some build up on your chute walls if one of those cherries dropped into the green liquor tanks it was like a hand grenade going off, or say if your exhuast fan for the boiler was having issues all those ports became flamethrowers… odd thing to be trained to walk toward and between the fire as thats the safe thing vs instinct of turning and moving away as it would wrap around your face shield…

I got tired of their Organic glues NOT STICKING, and a Bozo representing them.
Trashing is not my style, but I don’t have to say Anything Bout that guy

That’s correct, we use primarily black liquor

I beg to differ but that’s just my opinion.

I roll my own cones, easy peasy.

Ugh most definately, we call them “clarifiers” now… but yeah, fancy effluent ponds, lol

I find they ALWAYS suck into the joint and plug up, I bought 10 packs thinking theu would be “cool” for my cannagars… just a waste, lol

My favorite papers are smoking, reds and blacks I like the most.

In these days I wonder how ‘ethical’ a multi national company can be.

Ah yeah I saw this yesterday. I wonder if Elements are going to get banned too. HBI owns them as well and the packaging has almost all the same claims as the RAW’s, just no talk of a foundation/donation. But definitely says alcoy spain and everything else.

This is what I have right now, spent the last year with a few bulk packs of raw cones from Amazon. Won some of these in a giveaway and have always had some packs of tops. Great size. Never going to smoke raw anymore. I like to stick with top. But I try others like the cellulose papers there fun once in a while. I don’t do blunts anymore. Cannagars are by far the best. But occasional.
