Red states with decent marijuana laws

No problem!!

Politics reduced to childrenā€™s games: Whoopee for my side. Poop on your side. I wonā€™t listen to you, so there! Well, I wonā€™t listen to you, so there!

Meanwhile both are so busy b*tching at each other they donā€™t see reality slowly but surely enveloping them.

Youre overcomplicating things, i wish there was unity instead of continuous division but that aint happening, therefore i want the right to pursue happiness (freedom) as much as possible and the least government intervention (slavery) as possible, that goes for anything; from getting my car registered, to starting a small business, to mask mandates, to growing meds and everything is either expensive or a headache or both hereā€¦i didnt even vote the last two elections because i thought they were such shit ā€˜choicesā€™ but its clear now the california government is 100% out of pocket and treat the citizens like children, if not something even more nefarious than we could imagine is the eventual goal. :peace_symbol:

OK, Freedom without responsibility becomes anarchy. Responsibility without freedom becomes slavery. IMO, we need to work toward balance. Example: We canā€™t drive anywhere we want. We are regulated to drive on roads, with traffic lights, speed limits, stop signs etc etc. Those things limit my freedom, but without them it would be crazy anarchy. The limitations allow people to get where theyā€™re going. Now if they made speed limit on freeways 5 MPH, Iā€™d join the protest. I can remember when speed limits on hwys was 45 MPH. Then 55 MPH and with better cars 65 to 75 MPH. Thatā€™s what governments are ā€œsupposedā€ to do, adjust things to fit the situation, but when everybody is against everybody - nothing gets done. Thatā€™s one reason I like pot - get mellow, get creative, enjoy the day, myself and my friends.

This is why so many roads in Michigan are at 25 mph. I have a theory that speed limits are dictated by the number of potholes in a mile of roadway, Not to mention it gets hard to see white lines under all that salt.

The problem is government over reach, no one is saying that we donā€™t need government, just as little government intervention as possible, what I do on my property is no one elseā€™s business as long as Iā€™m not hurting anyone, but unfortunately the government seems to think its necessary to regulate me on my own property, and I have an issue with that.

Also there is a huge difference between a vaccine that prevents you from getting sick, and one that just reduces the severity of the symptoms, but you can still get it ans spread it. Thatā€™s not how the polio vaccine works, or the smallpox vaccine. Both of them prevent you from catching and spreading it.

Innoculated and vaccinated are not the same thing, vaccines are far safer. Patriots were willing to acquire active infections in order to fight under Washington in the revolutionary war, nowadays though I guess itā€™s unconstitutional to don a paper face covering.

Whatever.

sā€™okā€¦mineā€™s sā€™pposed to have been some guy invented a drill bit and flew a plane that landed on water

Fair enough, but my only other argument is the fatality rate of smallpox was much higher at 30% and was much more contagious whereas covid is estimated anywhere from 2% to 3%, the flu has a fatality rate of 1% to 2% yet the flu shot is not mandatory. On top of that you can still catch and spread covid with the vaccine. Unlike the smallpox, polio and the rest of the vaccines that make it impossible to get the the ailments they protect you against.

Well, I figure God in her eternal wisdom sent the pox and now the Covid to reduce world population. But we fooled her by inventing things to deal with these dastardly diseases. But sheā€™s smart. Made a lot of us comfy and lazy so we would ignore her, thereby insuring further demise thereby reducing shopping malls and their acres of paved over land. But we know our rights! We want paving damn it! So she said, ā€œOK, you want it. Iā€™ll give to you until you choke on it.ā€ Thus Global Warming was born. ā€œI must of made a mistake in the formula because half these beingsā€™ brains have short circuited. Oh well, no problem. Iā€™ll just create a disease theyā€™ll ignore to kill them off.ā€ She certainly works in mysterious ways - to some of us.

My folks grew gardens and went to work all day for most of their lives, had 3 kids, retired with some money, took cruises and ended up in a condo in Prospect, KY. I respect what they did, but I have explored consciousness, expanded mine somewhat, and thanks to them, am able to watch the birds in the back yard, bomb down hills on my bike, walk on beaches with one or two others and some seagulls, visit friends on the Coast and elsewhere, eat well, smoke s little weed and enjoy/be thankful for, the miracle of life.
