Enjoy. I’m expecting a fair amount of variety from those as they are F2s.
Still just vegging under the 5000K lights. I’m keeping the lights low to combat the 100°F heat wave the last couple of weeks.
Looking good in your hood. Some crazy hot weather lately plus rain storms here also.
It does. But soon it will be a jungle.
Hey @ReikoX! If I remember correctly, you’ve got a huni badger that you really like. Have you seen the hunt badger mini? Looking at getting a new nectar collector, but don’t have $100s to drop on one. Was wondering what you thought of the mini if you’ve seen one.
I have seen ads for it, but haven’t had one personally. If it has the same 3-year warranty as the regular one, I don’t see how you can go wrong.
I shucked the Dominion Diesel F2 seeds. Lots of immature and aborted seeds, but still enough good ones to give away a few packs. I’ll let them dry for a few weeks, then clean them up with the bird seed cleaner.
I was running out of rosin for my vape carts, so I pulled about 7 grams of the Solo’s Stash from the freezer and decarbed it in a sealed jar at 150°F for about 30 hours. I filled one cart and put the jar in my seed fridge.
I topped the Chem91 x Orange Sour Dub plants and put the tops in the cloner. Plants numbered 1 and 5 are definitely female. Plants numbered 3, 4, and 6 are definitely male. The plant numbered 2 was still undetermined, but I’m leaning towards female.
Since I had the clone dome and tray out anyway, I took a couple clones off of the rest of my mother plants. I also gave them a rather aggressive trim.
The GLo BC1 autos are doing well. The one on the right seems to have found the bottom of the pot and is beginning to grow vertically. The one on the left is about a week behind.
It may be the angle of the photo, but those seeds are same size as peas.
I hope that rosin hits the spot! Great job!
It’s probably the angle, those are small 3oz. Dixie Cups.
Looking good bud.
Nice show @ReikoX,
The other day I noticed quite a few little moths flying around in the flower room. I decided to put out some yellow sticky traps to get a closer look. There were a lot more than I expected. I’m guessing they are attracted to the fungus from the oyster mushroom logs I used for mulch. There were a few fungus gnats as well, but I expected that. I ordered up some nematodes, they should be here by next weekend. Until then, I will continue to change the yellow sticky traps and monitor their numbers.
The beds were getting a bit over-grown, so I chopped the cover crop and removed the males from the flower room. I inspected the cover crop and my plants for any signs of bug damage, but found none.
Transplanting them with the bottomless pots couldn’t be any easier. I simply moved away the mulch layer and put the pot on top of the exposed soil. When I moved the mulch I noticed quite a few worms and a couple predatory mites, but didn’t notice any rove beetles.
The root development on these looks pretty good. I’m guessing they are going to take off now that they have access to the bigger beds.
Even though I didn’t notice any bug damage, I went ahead and sprayed everything with EM5 as an IPM treatment. I sprayed everything in the veg room too, just to be safe.
Finally, I put the first layer of screen up. In a couple of weeks, these screens should be full and ready to flip to flower.
Is this EM5 homemade by chance?
When I googled it the BAS website had a recipe on how to make it.
I was going to make my own, but bought it pre-made from BAS. I’m pretty sure I have everything he uses in his videos except their mustard seed and the yah-whey.
I don’t think BAS deliver where I’m at, so when I saw the recipe I was pumped. I didn’t see the video yet but this is the recipe from their website. I’ve got or could get all of these items!
The formula for one gallon of EM5 is as follows (1:1:1:1:20):
-
3/4 C EM1
-
3/4 C Molasses
-
3/4 C Vinegar (white or apple cider)
-
3/4 C distilled alcohol (vodka, whiskey, tequila)
-
Add some other plant material (fresh hot peppers or garlic…or fresh herbs that have known pesticide properties like mint leaves, lavender, eucalyptus, mella luca, neem, etc.)
-
Fill the gallon container with warm water (110-120ºF)
-
Seal and ferment until pH goes below 4.0
It’s probably not as effective as the BAS version but I need IPM sprays to rotate through
Yeah, it’s a very simple recipe to make. Especially if you are already fermenting your own FPJs etc.
So I saw this deal going on at DynaVap and couldn’t resist. It’s a vacuum sealed, insulated bong with a titanium M tip and necessary connectors. I love my DynaVap, and I’ve been nostalgic about smoking out of an ice bong. Plus it’s a vape, so MUCH cleaner water etc…
Let me how that piece works out. I’m shopping for one.
Clearance for lift-off, had not checked-in on this pair in a bit.
A little behind but they look ready too go thanks again @ReikoX
15 gallon fabric bag.
Here at 4 weeks; autoflower, Bloom Fert goes down Tomorrow
