I’ve been replacing the sticky traps every day or two and the number of little moths has decreased dramatically. The nematodes I ordered arrived, I’ll apply them to every bit of soil in my house this weekend. I noticed the right bed had a bunch of the little moths stuck the sticky trap one morning. When I went to change the trap the next day they were gone, only the legs remained stuck on the traps. The next day, I noticed a few ants carrying off pieces of the little moths from the trap. Cycle of life I suppose. So far none of these insects are interested in my plants.

The other day I got an e-mail with a sale at DynaVap for a “Chill bundle”. The bundle came with a Chill steel pipe, DynaVap tip and cap, and a “bonger” attachment. I’ve been loving my DynaVap vaporizer for flower and have been feeling nostalgic for smoking a bong. The Chill pipe is pretty nicely made. It feels nice and durable. I filled it with ice and water and took a few hits out of it with the DynaVap attachment. It was a very nice and cool hit. The draw is a little tight, but the flavor is on point. Because the DynaVap is a dry herb vaporizer, I didn’t have any ash to deal with and the bong water stayed relatively clean. The ice lasted for the couple of hours that I tested it out. Overall, I am happy with my purchase.

Since it’s indoors I’d definitely try the hormone attractant moth traps – outdoors seems impractical & irresponsible so I haven’t yet tried them.

I may try that if the nematodes and sticky traps don’t resolve the issue. It’s more of an annoyance than anything else. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

They’ll be turning up in wheelchairs next so put some spikes down to puncture the tires.
I hate ants but at least they are cleaning up for you I suppose. Saves you a job.

Dude, that’s pretty gnarly haha. I mean, fuck the moths, but at the same time, I’d really, really hate to be eaten alive by ants.

Kinda interesting that none of the ants got stuck to the traps, though. Those things are sticky…

A couple got stuck on there, perhaps not all those legs were from the moths.

I like my justeat delivery driver. I wonder if I place a bunch outside my front door before my next order… I’m kidding/joking…

I transplanted a bunch of rooted clones. I had two of the Chem 91 x Orange Sour Dub that didn’t root and one Grass Fire OG. They are still under the clone dome for now.

I have the males and my old moms still growing. I plan to chop them down and use the for a FPJ soon.

The two GLo BC1 could not be any different. The one of the left is what I was expecting them to come out like. The one on the right is just hilarious. It is one big bud. I might get a whole 1/4 oz out of it.

The beds are doing fine. The plants have settled and resumed vertical growth. I’ve been tucking the apical shoots under the screen.

nematodes kick ass, have used them with great results.

i had that same thought too.

Have you made FPJ from canabis plants before?

I recently made a small batch with some leaves that I defoliated as my girls went into flower.

I know the general idea for FPJ is to make it from parts of the plant that you’re trying to target with the feed. Fruits for fruits, roots for roots, leafy greens for veg etc…

Would you think it’s OK to use essentially vegetative material FPJ, to feed to flowering plants?

Yes, I’ve made FPJ from cannabis leaves before. I tend to use that at about 1-2 ounce per gallon during the vegetative phase. About a week before I flip, I switch to 1 ounce FPJ and 1 ounce of a fermented fruit juice (FFJ). Finally, I use the FFJ after the stretch at 1-2 oz per gallon through flowering.

I’m going to need to whip up. Batch of FFJ soon, I’m down to just my cactus fruit FFJ right now.

Thats cool, I’ve got some FPJ that i made from Thistle flowers that I’ve been using, was just wondering if it was a good idea to use the canabis leaves FPJ during flower.

Everything I have is in flower/fruiting right now. Weed indoors, Tomatoes and beans etc outdoors.
I have some Kale growing outdoors, supposed I could just use it no that.

Tha cannabis leaf FPJ has a lot of nitrogen. I wouldn’t use too much of that, as it can cause the plant to produce more leaf and less bud. You can make a quick FPJ with some organic fruit. I like squash, banana, and papaya for flowering.

Will the Papaya up my hash yields??

It’s all in the genetics eh.

Any fruit will do really. The main benefit is its low pH makes calcium and other micronutrients more available. Other benefits include an active microbe culture and as a potassium boost.

That particular recipe is one I picked up from Gil Carandang’s old website, the unconventional farmer.

ive been a dynavap fan for quite a while and using the M (with an adapter) on a bong was my go-to until i got a B-Zero which is fucking nuts. its like 10 dynavaps at once on a bong, but with controlled temp. so the taste is amazing. by far the best thing ive vaped or smoked.

I pulled these three males from the main room and threw them on the floor in the veg room. They have stretched quite a bit, six inch internodes? I plan to use these along with some mint I collected to make a FPJ.
