ReikoX's Workshop 2023

I’m still tucking leaves under the screen. The left plant is really taking off, the middle and right plant aren’t too far behind. The moth population seems to be winding down after spraying with nematodes about a week ago. I’ve adjusted the light schedule a bit. First, I lowered the daylight hours from 18/6 to 16/8. Then, I increased the 2700K LEDs from 35% to 50% on the dimmer. The plan is to flip them to 12/12 in about a week.

I don’t know if I’m going to run CO2 this round. I’m thinking I will just leave that and the supplemental lighting off too. I just want see if and how much of a difference they are making.

I’m still tucking the tops under the screen to keep an even canopy. Today, I trimmed up under the screen.

I took the trimmings, along with the males and some old mother plants, and used them in a FPJ. I had about 400 grams of cannabis leaves, and about 300 grams of fresh herbs. I used mint, basil, parsley, and dill. I mixed that with about 700 grams of brown sugar and put it in a clean growler. Finally, I added a couple ounces of LABS and an air lock. I will wait a few weeks to allow it to ferment.

The clones I took are looking good. These will become mothers and/or be used for some pollen chucking. I have an extra Solo’s Stash and an extra Dominion Diesel. I think I’m going to throw them into the QT tent and hit them with some GG4 RIL pollen.

I took two more cuts off the plants in the flower room. The Chem91 x Orange Sour Dub #1 plant never rooted.

These two GLo BC1 autos have been finicky. The one on the right got stunted early on. The one on the left, I tried some low stress training, but it just stunted it as well.

I picked up this coco and perlite from the local grow store today. I’m going to try some coco and the tree pots.

I’ve used Mother Earth soil mixes before when the hydro store was out of fox farm happy frog. It’s as good as anything out there and better than some.

Today is day four of flower for the Chem91 x Orange Sour Dub. I tucked everything back under the screen. My plan is to let them grow vertically from here out.

I still havent gotten the left bed plant to clone. Go figure its the biggest and fastest. I threw another cut in a cube with a dome. I put some other clones in the quarantine tent. The light is set to 12/22. My plan is to hit them with some GG4 RIL pollen.

Finally I dumped about 30 (Critical Mass x Ginger Alex Blueberry) x Divyder in a shot glass with tap water.

I am always astounded at your artistic skills @Heliosphear

@ReikoX I’m still reading thru your thread catching up, but man, Bravo!

Here are the Chem91 x Orange Sour Dub plants at day 8F. The left plant wants all the room, I even tucked some branches under the center plant. I don’t think I’m going to need the second trellis this round. These have pretty beefy stems and don’t seem like they will stretch a whole lot.

I got 24 of the (Critical Mass x Ginger Alex Blueberry) x Divyder seeds in their final 1L tree pots. They floated on top of the water for about 4 days and most had a nice tap root going. I watered the coco in with 2 grams of gypsum and 1 gram of epsom salts in a gallon of water.

I took a few bud shots of the GLo BC1 plants. I think they are pretty much done. They didn’t get too big, but they sure are frosty and smell great.

23/24 of the (Critical Mass x Ginger Alex Blueberry) x Divyder seeds are up. Not a single helmet head. I’ll give that last one a few days before I go digging and see what’s up. I might have just missed putting a seed in that pot.

Here are the Chem91 x Orange Sour Dub at day 21F. The stretch should be over by now. I’ve had a hard time getting that bigger, more vigorous plant to clone. I’ve taken cuts several times off of it with no luck. I have four more cuts from a few days ago trying to root. If it doesn’t happen, it wasn’t ment to be I guess.

Here are my (Ginger Alex Blueberry) x Divyder testers 10 days after sprouting. They are getting fed Jacks 321 once a day until runoff.

Some strains just don’t like getting cloned I’ve had a few over the years that just refuse to root. Nice looking crop you’ve got going.

Chem91 x Orange Sour Dub at day 48. The stretch is definitely over, and the buds are beginning to form build up. One of the cuttings from the left plant finally through a tiny root. I put it in a pot of soil and will wait to see if it makes it.

I’ve been pulling the males from the (Critical Mass x Ginger Alex Blueberry) x Divyder plants. So far I’ve pulled 8/24 that showed male. They are right at day 20 since they sprouted. These seem to be on the quicker side to show sex, so let’s see how long they will take to flower. I’m hoping somewhere around 70 days from poking their heads above ground.

It looks like the GG4 RIL pollen from my freezer is still good. The packet was labeled 5/22, so it is just over a year old. The plants in the QT tent look like they are starting to form seeds about a week later. I have a Dominion Diesel and a Solo’s Stash in there along with the two Chem91 x Orange Sour Dub that rooted for me. These should make someone’s Friday.

Combined the two smaller shelves in the middle. Now I can have taller plants there.

These are the plants in the QT tent. They are at about 5 weeks of 12/12 and seeds appear to be firming nicely. There is a Solo’s Stash, a Dominion Diesel, an two different Chem91 x Orange Sour Dub in there.
