ReikoX's Workshop

I have a few I don’t use wiring all kinds of stuff

22 posts were split to a new topic: LED recommendations for an 8x20

A few shots of the Durban Poison girls. They are at 56 days now, starting to fade and frost up. I put a top dressing of cannabis leaves and chopped clovers from a recent harvest.

These are the last of my perpetual CMH. I’ll be building another Solstrip light like the other side. The back plant is a Delicious Candy living up to her name in the smell department. Up front are some feminized autos I made, Crystal Candy x Big Devil XL. They don’t really like the 12/12 light cycle from seed, but whatever, they were just hash fodder anyway.

I have about three more weeks on the Delicious Candy, then I’ll upgrade the lights on that side and probably run something from seed. By the time I get something big enough, the autos should be done. I’m thinking something from @LED_Seedz I have some Grass Monkey F2, Cherry Tart (Cherry OG x Grass Monkey F2), Creme Brulee (Instant Cookies x Grass Monkey), and Starfighter IBL.

My mothers are looking much healthier now that they are getting some chemical fertilizers. The micro pots are just too small to do my normal growing style. One of the reasons I want to upgrade my space is so I can have my mothers in 2-gallon pots. Not only will I be able to do them no-till, but I will also be able to take bigger clones. My mothers include Adonis, Blue Dream, Cannatonic, Deadhead OG, Delicious Candy, Duran Poison, Jilly Bean, Juanita la Lagrimosa, Skywalker OG, and Zak Haze.

The Durban Poison is rocking it out now. The right plant is really chunking up. He leaves are also getting very dark as she stops producing chlorophyll in the large fan leaves. Another two or three weeks and these should be pretty much done! These will be ready to flip again too. Running seeds in the big bed is a pain, so I will probably run clones. I have a Juanita la Lagrimosa clone all ready to go, she can quickly fill up the screen all by herself. I will also have some Grass Monkey clones ready in a few days. I can fill the cloner after that with one of my mothers, I will only need one or two plants. I’ll likely run the Juanita unless something better comes along.

Finally is the Dinafem blueberry. Got a hint of lemon on the stem rub. She’s a pretty stinky plant, this cab doesn’t have a carbon filter. Her clone rooted, though I doubt I will run this again. I think I can find a better Blueberry. I have no idea how long she has been flowering, but she looks a ways off still. Next round I think I will use this for the party cup challenge over at ICMag. I have to keep my title going after all. I am going to run those Freedom Dream I got from @legalcanada

Checking the Durban Poison trichomes at day 60. Not quite ready yet, I would guess another week or two. What do you guys think?

You are a better judge than I am.

Slight clouding, very uniform.

About a week, huh?

I like a bit of amber in my buds. These are allegedly sativa, so I don’t want a racy paranoid high. I’ll keep an eye on the, but they are close.

I like a lot of Amber. I’m a couch lock kinda smoke. I’d edge towards the 2 looking at them but definitely keep a monocle on them daily bro

I’m chopping the top one and going a week more on the bottom one. Seeing a lot more Indica than I am Sativa in these.

That Durban Poison looks beautiful. And all the plants look great. I like to harvest with at least 10% Amber trichs. Interesting to see how quick they turn in the last week. Nice macros!

Chopping them separate may be difficult due to the screen. I’m seeing a lot of Indica I these too, definitely not 100% sativa. DC said he was going to get them tested in the Phylos galaxy, that should answer that question.

Is that a general trend for sativa strains? Im trying to work with some Blue Dream clones which are supposed to be a sativa dominate strain.

How can you tell? Newbies want to know

Taller. More “fingers” on leaves. Are the most prominent tellers mate

I didnt realize sativas had more fingers. On my last grow with Northern Lights and CBD critical - both mostly indica - I had a few 9’s but by far most were 7 fingers.

Height will be hard to judge in a scrog though.
