any update? you should see some pollen by now

Yes, the pollen sacs were dry. I culled the plant and will be trying again with a schedule and possible ratio/mix change.

Hey @GCBudz . If you haven’t thrown your reversed female out yet, you may still be able to retrieve a bit of pollen by drying the flowers on top of a screen and then sifting it out on to a piece of cardboard below. Sacs that appear empty may produce a small amount when screened.

I was suggested that by another buddy also, and it makes sense. However, for this run i ran into timing issue where it was getting too late to finish the plants and have the 4-5 weeks to mature beans.

And it was effecting the grow awaiting that tent.

Appreciate the heads up, and will use this info if i run into the issue again. I will be trying again…

I had a recent like, then i realized i never updated.

The pollen sacs were in fact holding pollen. And did in fact give me a few thousand seed. Chem91 S1 and my CJ91 cap junky x chem91.

I am an airflow fanatic, the pollen was dropping but being dispersed so well i never saw pollen lying on fans.

I will be this again soon using the same method.
