Love that colour!
^ NL5xAfghan is doing lovely. No smell at all yet, stemrub gives a very faint and smooth soft afghan hash scent, along with pine and a tiny touch of lemon.
^ Aurora is showing strong NL5 architecture, very tight nodes.
Topdressed all pots with bananapeels, horsetail, dandelion and cleavers.
The vetch is growing very fast now that it’s getting warmer.
Update on the effect of the Cream girl, cut into crumble and decarboxylated at 3 hours for 100 celsius.
Half a tea spoon ingested before a very oily pasta dish 3 hours ago, started getting the tingles after 30 minutes, the stone is just kicking in now, it slowly builds in momentum, very gentle, like breathing a wave.
I’m grinning and teary eyed from joy, after many months of abstinence… it always feels like coming home again in the most profound way. Glowing in the dark again. This is sacred medicine.
^ Mr. Nice NL5xAfghan in the glory of the sun, 19 days after flipping to 11 on / 13 off.
Now and then I get a faint whiff of hash, pine, honey and lemon, blended together like smooth velvet. Very sophisticated smelling. Very excited about this plant!
^ NL5xAfghan, day 30 of flowering.
Still almost no smell at all… until you touch them. Was just picking off a few gnats and I can’t stop smelling my fingertips, heavenly soft and smooth scent, so perfectly balanced and complex, can’t compare it with anything else… all I can say is velvety hash.
Harvested half of the branches because I’m running out of medicine. Timing feels just right. Was about 50/50 green and brown pistils. Gonna let the rest of it go for as long as possible.
NL5xAfghan,
7 weeks of flowering, getting the chop tomorrow because moving, otherwise I’d let her go longer:
^ The outer branches from almost a week ago.
Came out great! It looks super sticky!
NL5xAfghan effects report:
An hour since eating a tiny piece of flower from the first harvest, after a feta quiche, less than half a teaspoon, from a pot I decarboxylated “bain marie” for 3 hours. Herbal dessert, if you will.
Chest is radiating a wonderful warmth, very… nuanced. A sort of feeling with a lot of detail, not just brute force emotion. Like a gentle slow motion wind that carries the fragrances of many different flowers, that slowly walks through my heart.
This is some next level high. Never had anything like it.
Thank you Mr. Nice, for bringing me this level of quality.
I haven’t stood up yet though, but it may be quite an adventure.
To be continued…
I dunno what it is but it seems I’m becoming more and more sensitive to this herb, like the longer I use it, the more of a light weight I become and the less I need.
Or maybe this is just really top notch weed. Maybe both.
The plot thickens.
There’s a gradual accumulation effect it seems. Perhaps it could be that the liver never releases all 11-hydroxy-THC but always keeps a little stashed away for either slow or fast release, to enhance selected moments of our lives, the next portion we eat, the next time we raise our frequency. Perhaps it preserves little bits of the terpenes, that it then releases, mixed with the new incoming terpenes to maximize the entourage effect? Nature loves diversity, our liver is no exception.
Our bodies are very intelligent.
Very dreamy thoughts.
Listening to Bill Evans, the cymbals sounded like cosmic coughs.
I guess this strain is very good for poets, artists, musicians, and the like… creativity enhancing for sure.
Probably not very suitable if you wanna do purely left brain stuff.
I highly recommend you listen to this album after eating this strain:
Two hours in, the second wave is really kicking in now. Woowie.
They weren’t kidding about the Afghan part. This shit hits good and deep.
Will attempt to walk down the stairs to the kitchen as effortlessly as humanly possible, because with the second wave, concurrently, the munchies are inevitably coming along.
Stairwalking achieved gracefully.
Anything with Afghan in it man… taste it, sample it, eat it, grow it.
Almost 3 hours in, just keeps going higher, still no ceiling in sight.
Waves that come like carpet bombings. Feels like my chair is levitating.
