Rules for making F2 seeds to trade

Instead of skimming the article, actually read it before posting more nonsense. This is a multinational corporation with money and resources you couldn’t fathom, and they failed at the task that you keep insisting is commonplace.

You very clearly need to go back to the books. Hybrid vigor is a relative term – a sliding scale. Not a yes or no, on or off type of thing

You misunderstood what I was trying to convey…f1 hybrid vigor is not at play, out the window, has no bearing on what we’re talking about, we are talking about inbreeding f1 or f2 genetics (copycat)…your most likely NOT going to get hybrid vigor from inbreeding lol

You’re trying to convey a sense of authority, hence your broad claims with no sources behind them. I apologize for interacting with you again. I originally thought you were just mistaken, and would find the article on the mosquitoes interesting. Now…
idk, be safe brother.

Yeah man I’m gonna need specifics. All I’ve been asking for the whole time.

What gene? What are these deleterious traits being intentionally selected for?

What breeders? Be specific.

Hey you don’t know what you don’t know…your article doesn’t have any bearing really on this topic… we arnt genetically modifying anything…if you don’t understand breeding , just take a seat and you might learn something. Class is now in session.

I’m all ears.

Big bag of nothing…again.

I’m going to cross a proprietary strain called “the wolf” with a nice kush and call it “thewolfOG.” Problem solved.

For all intents and purposes, there is no difference between genetically modifying the line, and artificially selecting for the traits you’re talking about.

I just explained how it works, it’s in black and white…if your still lost, your should probably leave the plant breeding to the champs.

You didnt explain jack shit and we all know it.

Yes champ. Please educate us. But first a test.

Answer this:

How many alleles are there in a box of eels?

@xXTheWolfXx and @other peeps, I don’t think a harmful recessive trait to protect against copy cats would work, only 1/4 of the subsequent generation would show the double recessive deleterious mutation. And if it is really that bad it would be easy to select away from. As long as you eliminate the rr individuals from the gene pool it shouldn’t rise above 1/6 of subsequent generations (assuming 1/3 of remaining individuals are RR and 2/3 are Rr)

Your somewhat correct, although the subsequent generations would not breed true…the seeds would be worthless…could you pool a bunch of seeds from that generation and find a few? You could, but if you didn’t know the calling cards from working with the strain, you have a long road ahead of you…

The correct answer 117 alleles.
