Beautiful plants, I am on the west side. I used an expensive natural last year, Azera I think it is and it knocked the aphids out. At this point too late, but if next year you get them it is expensive but does work.
My buddy was involved with TC’ing all the Chem cuts fir PBud Mike.
After TC, Chem D no longer variegates, nor does her progeny. JJ tried saying its fake if it doesn’t variegate. But the truth is the variegation was just a symptom of illness, not an expression of genotype
Good to know, I have Dr Zymes, I fried the hell out of my plants with it trying to get rid of russet mites, holy hell those things are a nightmare, they won, the plants lost. I think it cost less than Azera, so good to know if I need it for aphids.
My understanding (and I could be wrong) is that Chem D has a propensity, probably generically, to varigation. But it is brought about or exacerbated by nutrient deficiency, particularly calcium.
You are safe, I used it on the indoor at that strength. They recommend a stronger strength with 30 ounces of water for 3 days with russet mites, it was the last treatment that fried them. Russet mites are horrible, they eat your bud!
This is 1 of 4 and my favorite (smoke test pending). She stayed totally green until the night temps dropped significantly, then in 2-3 days her leaves all turned dark purple.
She has a loud purple funky almost alcohol-ish aroma. I pollinated a clone with a really nice strong smelling Sensi Star x Puck bc1 male.
