If you’re cheap and lazy like me, but want something that’s damn effective…can anyone guess what I’m gonna suggest?!..diatomaceous earth…lol. nobody ever listens to me though…lol.
Got a 25 pound bag for less than $20. More DE then I’ll be able to use in my garden for a lifetime.
Got a nasty anthill in the front yard? Dust this on it every week…poof, anthill gone. Slugs and snails getting to your veggie garden?..dust some of this around and poof, fuck off slugs! Even ants entering a home through a small crack in the foundation…dust, dust, dust.
It’s people/pet/plant friendly and organic.

Anyone who has dealt with bedbugs knows how hard they are to get rid of…sprinkle this shit around and they’ll fuck right off. Dealt with bedbugs once, 15ish years ago in a shithole apartment. DE was the only thing that actually worked.

I use it as an amendment for my soil and I add it to the water occasionally. It is a great source of silica.

Tractor Supply for Diatomacious Earth

I use neem oil around my house. It runs everything off. Just the smell makes me sick to my stomach. I know they don’t like Rosemary. I thought about this last time about growing some rosemary in my tent.
I have stuff that I kill them dead. But I’m worried about that stuff being on my plants. Dr. earth make some stuff. Anyway good luck. You got a lot of suggestions.

Like I said too much could cause them to throw bananas. I believe it’s the oil . I have used spray starch. It’s a very interesting topic. Some of the stuff up top I’ve never heard of .

Pure crop1 can be a very helpful tool in flower

Isn’t azamax linked to some bad stuff? Azadiractin or something? Or something changed on the label? I remember it being mentioned in cannibinoid hyperemesis syndrome threads somewhere.

Also, +1 on the DE and silica

It’s like tiny daggers for bugs, and helps build the elevator shafts in you’re plants download (1)

A lot of that stuff isn’t good for you. I haven’t used anything in the past couple years… i’ve had them a few times. What I’ve noticed she mess up more especially if you’re inside. Outside I could see is a different story. I did think it had something bad in it.

flowering update, posted to my other thread but figured i would update here too.

Looking very rough!

nearing week 8 of flower as a first time grower

discovered a mite infestation about a week ago, used @JohnnyPotseed mites thrips and aphids cure all recipe. I ended up having to do 3 rounds which i think is what did me in. Now nearly all the fan leaves have shriveled up and fallen off and the buds are pretty small and weak looking. But i’m pretty sure all mites are gone. What’s super weird is how only one of my two plants( same age, diff genetics) got spider mites. The one that didn’t get them is doing very well and seems to be pretty healthy. Which is ironic because it was way smaller than the other one and i didn’t even prune it before flower. Anyways, I’m just watering it and trying to keep it alive but I’m not sure what to do/ how long to let it keep going. Any and all help is much appreciated.

Hey all, a little update on my mite situation. One of my plants has gotten worse and worse and almost every single fan leaf has turned crispy and fallen off. I’ve sprayed it 3 times with @JohnnyPotseed recipe. Today I saw another live mite after days of none… My question is - do I spray it again and have it die fully or do I harvest it now. My other plant is doing ok, no mites and very healthy. the only thing is that one of the branches folded in on itself because the buds at the top were too heavy i guess , so i got some plant clips and secured it to my fan to hold it up. With all the setbacks I have I am well past my grow guide harvest time so I was hoping to get some advice on how to proceed. Thanks !

You can spray any time you see a pest, cuz.

As for the harvest or not? That’s entirely up to you, cuz. From the looks, I’d say chop it and salvage whatever smoke you can. Move on to your next planned plants.

@Cannabel we’re about 20 minutes west of Tulsa off 412/64, where are you located?

edit… I’m not sure just why your plant is dying, cuz. But, it isn’t from spraying with the MTA-‘one-n-done’. WE spray probably every few days and never had any of the plants show any ill effects from it.
These were sprayed just yesterday (heavy)

edit… I say it isn’t from the spray… but, i don’t know how you mixed it or if you used any substitute ingredients etc. I will say this, if you mixed it following directions to the ‘T’, and also diluted it correctly, it will not be the reason your plant died. If you used to heavy a dilution, (1.5-2oz per gallon is the recommended) that can be bad. Anyways, sorry your plant died, cuzs. RIP

I just saw you replied to this so disregard me asking if you saw lol

I live in Midtown/Downtown Tulsa, not too far from you I believe. Your plants are beautiful, wow! I have no reason to believe that the spray caused my plant to die, but I still don’t know what did. It would make sense to me if both died but the other little buddy is doing pretty good. the buds aren’t fat but at least it’s not crispy/dead.

Also I am pretty confident I got the measurements right, and used 3 oz of the mix in a 2gal sprayer. My confidence in the correct measurements comes from my OCD tendencies… But I also know I am fallible and I could have slipped up. Not sure. Just thinking. But thanks for sharing your advice and your beautiful girls!

Thnx, cuz. Let me ask ya, I wouldn’t presume to try guessing your current plant situation, but how are you set for seeds. clones, plants? Not trying to sell ya anything, lol but we’d be glad to help you out if you need anything?

That is so kind!! I have 16 clones right now that are a couple months old that I think i’m gonna experiment with, until I get a little more experience growing. My tent is a 5 by 5 so not room for much, so I think I am all set for a while. But that offer means a lot, it’s nice knowing there’s good people nearby who know what they are doing! Appreciate ya

Ok, sounds like you’re good to go then. No problem, it was just a thought/offer. lol
