It’s from San
Oaxaca x C5 = La Mera Mota

Wow that LA Mera Mota sounds amazing! Is this available anywhere @santero ? Which Qaxacan is being used? Was it the fem e$ko used or that Oaxacan from charlie?

it’s kind of our own “mexican haze”-experiment.
there are 3 different versions of “la mera mota”.

  • tijuána (landrace via spanish growers) x c5bx1
  • oaxácan (charlie garcia’s cut) x c5bx1
  • míchoacan (verde limón, hyp3rids breeder cut) x c5bx2

my wife made all of them

and more hazes are being lined up and will come together soon.
we will share some of “meridian haze” (= c5bx2) lines in 2024.

ow yeah
my friend prisma/sunnyvale made an f2 of the meridian-line.
his original work is really great with it … i like his selections.
his sour/haze-type is made with karma’s sour = winner (!!)

@Zanzibar
wow, wtH, haha … she went really berzerk :star_struck:
(can you please show me that himbeer haze again?
can’t see her often enough, she is SO damn sexy !!)

Of course. The Himbeer Haze is actually in the same pic above, behind the La Mera Mota. Here’s some pics of when I put them out there in early September. The Himbeer was much taller at that point
!

But La Mera Mota quickly caught up (a month later)

Here’s the Himbeer Haze now

and here’s one more, snapped today, from a different garden

Do you have some Himbeer aromas in those beauties? I wish I could grow some sativas successfully in my neck of the woods :pensive:

There’s a light red-berry aroma - on the ones I have going. They’re a little different this year. A little less aromatic. I think it’s due to amount of light, or light issues. The last pic above is shaded by some much bigger plants, and the one growing with LMM had some light issues that stunted it some (from the lights on the wall, which were on up until a month or so ago). Both Himbeers are more leafy than usual, and aromas seem less this season.
Usually the nose on these is more pronounced, more loud. And yes, these Himbeers are good outdoor plants. Indoors they do really well, too, but they like to get big so you need to manage them. San has some nice Chocolate Rain crosses (e.g. Raspberry Truffle), which has some excellent Raspberry phenos.
Also Himbeer Haze = Amnesia Haze x Chocolate Rain. The CR often translates to nice red berries

haha, cool … i did not see anyone with zoidfume for a while
the zoidfuel x c99 f2 i grew from @wallyduck was really amazing.
sanfune was being f2’d for the second time (fat on fast pheno-run)
and two of wally’s were hit with my males.

those must be the only f2’s from that on the planet, haha.
and a banana zoid seems like something really, really worthwhile.
i can’t remember anyone else mixing tropical sanfune and exotic
papua/cindy with banana terps. there must be really impressive
tasters in there :yum:

and “the halo”, eyyyy … that’s super-rare, wow :exploding_head:
that was when i used jah hoover’s “daywrecker”-clone and
hit her with the f1-lemon larry males (from elite genetics).

i found really heavy stinkers in ‘the halo’ …
and the effects turned me into a mummy, lol.
wow, that’s a while ago now, hehe.

__

later i found out that jah’s clone was not actually daywrecker, but headband (?)
anyways he shared it around as “daywrecker” at the time, so i went by what i
was told and called her “lemon sundaze” at first and then re-named her to “the
halo”, respecting the actual combo.

hey @Josh_Blue, mate.
can you please help me with some infos about ‘mai tai’ in “instablue”?
this one interests me very much, haaa. it all reads really supernice :yum:
IF you have a minute, brother.

Yes, mai tai was a super short day finisher indoors (42 days) from clear water genetics. A cross of purple punch and oh I cant remember now. Easy to look up. The 42 day cut was a rare find in a pheno hunt. Quality effect, aroma, and flavor in 42 days. Crossed to Djs 98 f4 bb stud. Early high quality disease resistant plants to be found. They went towards a pine forrest tropical fruit profile. Really great quality on an ealry plant. We are getting ready to hunt thru a bunch at my partners facility.

i have two babies of the instablue going now, one has nice thin pointy leaves the other has completely deformed leaves almost looks like an ABC or freakshow at infancy but spit out a really long tap root after germing. really interested in where the second one goes.

wow, sounds very good. thank you, josh !
i am going to get to try that sooner or later
“pine forrest tropical fruit” → right up my alley.

Sitting on some halo along with a few other older strains you sent . Your description is right on compared to what I’d grew that definitely was a while back though.

ahh, i remember the larry crosses …
i used the elite genetics lemon larry f1.
made f2’s and also a bunch of crosses.

the “ghost of larry” (= ghost og x lemon larry) and
“saint lawrence” (= esko’s godbud cut x lemon larry)
were two of my favorites, but “homeless larry” was
also really good, that was cheese x lemon larry.

… all those happened around 2015/2016.

the 1st “lazy larry” (yours) was from a year before
= lemon larry f1 pheno #6 x g13widow f4-male
(and i made 3 more g13/larry-variants later on.)

__

btw … “the peasant”, that i am growing out right now is from those
old larry-sessions = sssdh ojd cut x lemon larry f1 (3 males mixed)
