That Cherry Puff looks amazing!

it’s one of the strongest plants i hold  i was shared this via UK
almost ten years ago. the clone was selected by skunk munkie
when he tested Cherry Puff for Gage Green Genetics. it’s the F1
Pheno #7-keeper. he called it “baked well cut” for obvious reasons.

Ya, I remember that Cherry Puff crossed to Chocolate Diesel males. Was :fire: and the 1st time I smelled sweet baked goods in Canna.

Seems like if you put that against a buttery strain you’d have a cross you could call Bakewell Tart:

SSDD maybe? I heard there’s a buttery pheno

SSDD definitely has buttery blueberry and sour butter phenos, I was also thinking of White Cherry Truffle or Mother’s Milk?

hey cool …
maybe the cross to the trufflez will show that already

EDIT.

i thought about that “bakewell tart” … i like it

we like to invent names that fit the cross, involve parents or the actual result.
sometimes it’s just a play at the names of the parents. my wife names 95%
of all i make, so it’s not in my hands either way, lol. her ideas are much better
and funnier than mine, so i leave her to name most of the things i do.

but …
any name to a first cross-mating is a mere “project-petname”, imho.

it’s really fun to name the creations in some way, but to be honest:
any f1-line would need to be worked to breed true and express reliable,
before it could be called a real “strain” → it’s a X, maybe even a gud un.

okay, then: “bakewell tart” it is, for that one  very nice find there, @Dirt_Wizard
i never knew there was a place called bakewell and didn’t know about the pudding
either, lol … who knows maybe skunk munkie (being from UK) turned the whole
thing into quite the clever wordplay.

most of the plants are done, but the seeds are not
so, i’ll let them stand for 10w to ensure seeds ripen up.

i’m gonna make them run the catwalk in a few days …
