Looking for some input on growing some haze and sativas indoors. I have some bandaid haze I want to get going.
I’ve read varying thing about starting from flower and using a smaller pot. I have about 6 feet of usable height (7 foot tent). Any input would be awesome!
I have not liked what I saw when running 11/13. Tried it 4 or 5 times, have given up on it for sure.
Heard DJ Short talking about it years ago, tried it, went back to 12/12 on the flower.
In my opinion you would be better off doing 12/12 from seed, and smaller pots. JMHO
Had poor harvest’s with it. Used on 3 different Sativa’s I was trying to “quicken up” . They started to Bud earlier, but never really filled out well. Took same or longer time to finish, and weight was considerably down. Plants DID show different expressions than I had seen under 12/12…I DID NOT like those expressions.
My last run was at 11/13…have same plants going now, under 12/12…MUCH better build, MUCH better size, and actually are going to finish 10 days earlier than when run 11/13. Harvest weight WILL be way up over last 11/13 run too.
Pure sativas are not a good choice for indoor growing, as they can stretch real high. In the floering period they can increase their height 200 to 300% from veg. !2/12 from seed is a good option to control that …
I top and train EVERY PLANT…just makes them better. I do not grow auto’s.
I keep them in small pots…till near root bound, then go up a size. My typical 14 weeker starts in Dixie Cup, then goes into a small taller white square pot, then into a 1 gallon round, then into it’s final home, the bigger round, not sure size, it is 8 inch’s diameter. When I grow them I use the small pots, and lots of them tight together, holding each other up.
6 inches is 20.3 cm, that makes 6.57 liters (using this formula) so the pot must be 1 US gallon size, I must be wrong in my calculations as you talked about 1 gallon in the previous pot. Anyway, they shouldn’t grow up very high with that size, guess they will have more room available and you can grow more quantity of them, interesting, thanks …
Yup, I was wrong. Big one is the gallon. When I run them like that I will run about 20 of them together under 1 single light, and let them use each other for support.
