Super Sativas in one gallon pots...?

I have heard it is possible to grow a sativas in one gallon pots from start to finish on 12/12, and they will finish in 90 days of flowering. Is this posible?

It is yes. But the reason they finish is cuz of stress. They are like “wtf ima die i gotta reproduce soon!”

Is quality compromised then?

Big time!! Its like taking a plant several weeks early. What you want is a 1gal pot for a while to keep it small. Then tp to a bigger pot when needed. 1gal per month of growth is the rule of thumb.

I understand, so i can do a 1 gallon and then 3 gallons to finally put in 5 gallons…

12/12 from seed in 3 gal air-pots start to finish. Indica leaning hybrids perform best IMHO.

A 5-gal final pot should be fine, top and train to keep her short

ive heard running 11/13 or 10/14 can speed up finishing times but trade off a bit of yield maybe

I was always told a gallon per foot. So 1 foot plant 1 gallon pot, 5 foot plant 5 gallon pot etc.

You think that to be true bro. I am gonna make it a 5 gallon pot and see how it does…

For indoors a 4gal pot is enough to get good results but outdoors the sky’s the limit and I know a guy that uses 100gal smart pots to grow trees in his back yard in southern Ontario for 5+lbs each. Uses promix and AN nutes to grow monsters I have wet dreams about! lol

Hi Mad

Sativa, super sativa, 1 gallon, 30 gallon ! To you to adapt the stature of your plant. My litlle sativa harvested 50 cm in 3 l pot (18 wek 12/12) :sunglasses:
Sure that you are not going to make a plant of 1.5 * 0.8 (m) in 1 gallon. She die before finish his entire life (not good for your terpenes)

These sativa doms were grown out in puny, slightly less than one gallon containers.
They were not started at 12/12. They had about two weeks of veg growth.

I was also thinking and because of the advice that @Herbie gave me, that i am gonna train it to be horizontal and close to the lawn, and with stakes i tie it down, so the side branches will shoot up and that way i might be able to control it better, plus it’s not even gonna look like weed…
