Scts' set it and forget it

Not saying DE is not harming the nematodes. But, correct me if I am wrong, the idea behind DE is that it acts as microscopic razor blades and slices the insects abdomen, effectively dehydrating them to death. They don’t actually eat the DE. So, in my opinion, insects that stay under the soil should be ok. Because when you water your plants the DE becomes a kind of muddy stuff and no longer works as intended. And it washes into the soil. Now, whether it is harmful for a different reason, I don’t think they eat the DE. Just one man’s opinion, I could be wrong.

Silica is poorly soluble but plants do make use of it, in varying degrees. :+1:

They are almost 2’ tall. I topped them, but they still want to grow up!

Well something went through and selectively ate my garden, didn’t touch the ABC’s though.

The flower beds are similar, some stuff razed to the dirt next to completely untouched plants

They ate more last night. They come again tonight there won’t be any cover crop left! I think I can call abc pest resistant at this point.

Well, 2 are almost chest tall, 1 is still shorterer and bushier, makes me think I’m seeing 2 phenos, I’ve seen a few of what appear to be preflowers on the 2 tall ones, they appear female so :crossed_fingers:

Cover crop is blooming, they’ve grown another 8 inches in the last 11 days.

So these have been growing like .75 of an inch a day. At this rate I’m going to have a couple of 7’ plants here when they start to flower. Like not even kidding, they grew over 22" in 28 days. If they start blooming in 5 weeks (when it gets below 14 hours daylight here) that’s roughly 30" more growth by then.

Still haven’t fed any fertilizer beyond what was added at the begining. This coast of Maine is some great soil!

@EKGgrow88 check these out.

You have really beautiful plants :slight_smile: It’s the first ABC I see that are big like that. Such an interesting strain :call_me_hand:

Me too! I honestly was not expecting them to grow nearly this big. There is 1 small plant, it’s about 2.5 feet tall. That’s what I was expecting :laughing: I think I’m going to have to pull these around the corner behind the shed, the law says you have to have them hidden from street view, and these are getting a bit big. Like they are just under my chin tall already. Around the corner gets a solid 6 less hours less of direct light, but that might make them stretch even more!

Oh, stem rub is lemon and sandalwood. The clone of back left plant rooted and is in the flowering tent. The other 2 died, so I’ll take more tomorrow. I want to give my cloner a good cleaning first.

It’s nice to see this growing outdoors, like it should be. Beautiful stealth. I took some clones off my male to throw outside but they’re not that exciting. Hoping to get a damn female!

I’m 4/7 males so far. I really just want 1 female so I can dust it with sub1 pollen.

Well, 2 of them are taller than I am now. Back right I’m 99% sure is female, back left I’m 99% is male. The short one in front I can’t tell yet. If back left is male he will be getting chopped. I have Donbass ABC pheno pollen to use on any fems. The 2 tall ones have been growing 1"+ per day. Each strip of siding is 4.5 inches and they grew 3 strips in the last 12 days
