I sent a message about getting these spread out.

It’s the Turk x Ancestral Skunk that plant.

I think we could have some fun crossing strains into it.

Here’s a gallon bag for us to explore the F1s There may be 10,000 seeds or more. Had like 90% good seeds after harvest.

AS would of finished in 5 weeks without seeds it seemed like. Lol

The Turk was from Nevil’s buddy, I’ve got several Turk landrace plants I pollenated this season. In research I seen on quora no one is crossing Turk into things, poor little rejected one’s lol

So I dug in to start blazing pollen on them.

I’ve often thought pure Turkish lines were over looked in common cannabis folklore. When I was first starting to smoke weed a older relative who grew a lot back in the 80s was growing a pure Turkish variety. A lot of Turkish and Hindu Kush types were being grown early on by certain ethnic groups around the San Francisco Bay Area and east los Angela’s/riverside county. We here about the Mexican , Thai and the Afghans a lot but not so much about the early Hindu and Turkish strains that came over with people from those areas and made there way into California early cannabis gene pool.

Great history lesson, it’s time has come to explore its ability in other strains. When it all comes together it’s going to be the perfect indoor plant, that’s my goal, it resist pest, mold, PM, hot and cold weather, including dry periods and wet periods. Very rock like density compared to the other buds I grew.

I let some dry and cure open air on the branches, 3 months I can roll one from the plant now, it’s getting better tasting and way more potent that way. The weather has been cold and it’s inside a unheated building.

Shocking how much better it is from doing nothing to it, but leaving it in cold cold air constantly. Then warmer days since harvest it gets it wet again , love how it’s doing it all by itself. :dove:

Ancestral Skunk has a complex scent profile with a layered terpene profile heavy in myrcene. A descendant of 80’s Skunk, this cultivar is an excellent choice for those new to cannabis due to it’s balanced cannabinoids.

These plants are very pretty… I hope I can grow them.

a greeting.

That is a beautiful Ancestral Skunk. I have some of both batch #1 and #2 from Cultivators Choice in cold storage. The batch #1 had such bad germination rates that they sent a free batch #2. One of these days I need to try to do a run with them!
