So years ago when I worked for Mike Symon at Roast, we had 2 guys that were 10 years younger than me and total trouble makers, but both good at their jobs. So we hung out to smoked a blunt of Apollo 13 after work one night. I had never had it and the one guy, Noodles, was like āyou gotta try this shit yo!ā
So there we were cruising around downtown Detroit in his like '94 LeBaron, bumping his system, smoking this blunt. I was growing stupid amounts at the time and smoking between an 8 and a Q daily.
This 1.5 gram blunt had me fried like I was in junior high again!!! Like seriously, I drove home. Stopped for gas and a drink. Paid, then drove home without pumping my gas and didnāt realize it until the next day. Became legendary status to me that night.

From talking to people about cannabis about the Apollos, I wouldnāt feel too bold in saying it might be one of the most nostalgic and wistful of all the strains out there, especially of the post 90s cannabis landscape. It seems, to me, that most strains with such a huge impact and history didnāt vanish with quite the sameā¦ force and suddenness. And whatās more, there was simply no reason for it to vanish. Newer strains certainly arenāt better. Itās a super short flowering sativa with plenty of wallop. If it were re-released today under the name āSundae Girl Scout Glue Sherbert Do-si-Cake Cookies OG Driver,ā it would be a tremendous hit. Iāve always had a lot of trouble figuring out what happened to the Apollos.

Iād heard about that. Iām always curious when seeds are introduced for sale so many years after the original introduction. I sometimes wonder if there are any major differences over the years. Iāve noticed that some breeders will re-launch a line or continue to carry a line, despite not having the original parent(s), and will kind of recreate the strain using new parents that are approximately phenotypically the same.

Rick has said that he still has the original princess mom. Not sure on the details or what is reworked vs original parents.

I know that the package pictured above that I sent out vanished into the ether.
If someone is willing to take some of what I stashed away from these F2ās and open them up in a Co-Op I will send you enough to go hog wild. I can provide 25-50 and I would expect the expressions to be all over the map, great for an F3 OP.
