That’s PH x PPP!? Sounds fantastic wanted to put that in capitals but isn’t that yelling? In this case the capitals would’ve mean excitment.
Anyhow PPP looks awesome showing some nice frosting… but i think you had me at PHXPPP

Well, I should have been a little more clear. The seeds that plant is currently making are PHxPPP. That plant is the PH mom.

I think I did it right. Haha. First time attempting to get in on one of these. Looks like it should be a winner and I’m always looking for old afghani lines to mix with what I’ve got in the library.

Pollen is getting mailed today. To those who responded:
- It will come in a plastic baggie inside a heat sealed pouch.
- I don’t recommend opening it until you’re ready to use it.
- If you are not planning to use it within a few weeks, it will store better in the freezer
- You should have plenty to use, apply with a small artist paintbrush. Qtips can also work, but tend to hold the pollen in the fibers a little more.

If I wait and use it on females from the seeds, would that be another filial generation or a bx? I guess there is no knowing what generation the seeds are at on these?
I guess I’m saying I might be wanting to consult you on how to best preserve it further with the pollen you have. Or is it best to do an open pollination again with what I’ll have to best continue the strain. peace

I’m not really sure what the convention would be, but it’s not a bad idea. You’ll get a good mixing of PPP genetics that way.

It would technically be a backcross, but like you said, whichever filial generation it was is moot if you don’t have any info up the line.
