Seed Run Shake - What to do?

So I’ve got a seed run going at the moment and I expect when everything is shucked I’ll have a pile of frosty green material that I don’t know what to do with.

I’m leaning towards turning it into bubble but my worry is the dustiness of the material will lead to green hash which I don’t want.

Edibles would be fine too.

I’ve also considering putting it in moulds under pressure and turning it into brick.

Anyway, too many thoughts and no solutions so I figured I’d ask:

What do you do in this situation?

You could make butter and separate it all with water.
Also possibly iso, bho, or even bubble.

I run no-till and top dress my beds. That or throw it in the bokashi bucket and feed that to the worms.

Roll a fuckload of joints?
One really big one?

I’d really like to do something with it. I’d like some kind of confirmation on the efficacy of a bubble run.

If my butter is a bit green that’s not the end of the world.

I don’t mess with chemical extractions it’s just not my bag.

I did make 2 cannagars with shucked material. Worked fine just not as strong.

I could just put it in a jar and hope for a cure. Mrs Foreigner would put it in the bong no problem.

you could always make bubble and then if its not to your liking, make edibles with that. hash edibles are often better tasting to those that dont like the taste of weed, ime.

As far as bubble goes, you can still get totally fine quality for the most part. just be sure not to mix to hard or too long.

but if you had a screen to do some dry sifting, that would be what I would do.

Plus roll 1 or 2 giant joints cheech and chong style

I use my bubble bags as sift screens but my concerns about greenness remain the same.

But rolling ridiculous 10 paper joints is always fun.

IME the yields are low and the product is green.

Joints end up with the little seeds I’ve missed.

Butter/coconut oil would work well.

Tincture maybe?

I do this before shucking the seeds and it works really well!

I was planning using the ‘dross’ (leftover bud bits) for extraction but I was a little low on head-stash so I started vaping it… …It was all right… :+1:

Certainly not as good as the properly cured sensimea but not trash either.

I’d do the bubble and make edibles with it like someone said

What’s the etymology of “dross?”

I think I’m unlikely to run bubble and then turn that into edibles. If I could get quality bubble I’d do a run but if it’s just edibles I’d use it as is and disguise the taste with mint and chocolate.

Old English drōs (in the sense ‘scum on molten metal’); related to Dutch droesem and German Drusen ‘dregs, lees’.

Very interesting. I’m more inclined to use the word slag but we are in the same ballpark.

“Ease off on the 7 paper joints Rick!”

I often do this with the shake in the bottom of the jar but this would be a gargantuan task all it’s own :joy:

I’d make some oil to drip under the tongue for effect.

  1. Decarb
  2. Put it in alcohol
  3. Filter
  4. Let the alcohol evaporate
  5. Mix with some mct oil (1 ml / gram)
  6. Enjoy

Man I am having a tough time keeping up with all the treads you create, lol. All fun topics though  I would make bubble hash personally.
