In general you want darker seeds and most will have stripes on them. The whiter seeds are immature. As with life there are exceptions. They are free and all you got so try them regardless. If you don’t want to waste time, sprout them in a paper towel first. I hope this helps.

@ryasco pretty much hit the nail on the head. It’s hit or miss sometimes with light colored seed. I’d say yours at just at the point where it’s hard to say of they’re viable. A breeder def wouldn’t put them on the shelf buy that’s not to say they aren’t viable at all.
