I’m really new to autos. I’ve only done 2 befor now. Turned out ok. Cheese from Canuck seeds where the only 2 befor now. Going to be doing it in a 10gallon honor pot.
Oh sounds interesting, I love autos.
A friend of mine gifted me these grapefruits. He likes short stuff genetics. Figure why no I’m up for learning more
Tagging along
Why such a big pot? Shouldn’t need more than 3 gallons
Lol cause I’m not fully sure on what I’m doing when it comes to autos. This is my 3rd one ever. I know the very basics to it so to say but that’s it. The next one I’ll for sure use a 3 gallon see how it goes tho
Many people recommend 5-10 gallons for auto’s…don’t know why and fell into that trap myself until I grew a few out then examined the root structure. Now its 2.5qts - 3gallons when I give them a go
That and watering a large pot with a tiny plant in it can be difficult. VOE
Thank you. Will keep that in mind for the next. Planning on doing another after this one is done
What is your take on lst or topping autos? I lst the 1st one I ever did. Never topped on tho. This is 3rd ever I’ve done. 1st 2 I ever did I lst one am did. None thing to the second. Always done in 10gal. But never one forsure will be a 3-5 gallon
Nope! No stress on the autos whatsoever. They have a short life span so I advise against messing with them in any way. They don’t have time to recover. My last 5 grew to short of 3 feet but it was an outdoor grow in summer so all that sunshine was like crack. No idea what they will do indoors.
Is it in there? Can’t see with purple light. lol
Yeah just popped throw still has casing on it
Something is definitely going on they should have a couple sets of leaves by now. These are some autos that are three weeks in this picture.
Autos like a well aerated soil, most bagged soil requires additional perlite.
All I’m using is promix. My buddy started one same day. His is way farther a head then mine is for sure. Never had one do this befor
