That’s a nice spread there.
I don’t top plants. I use the main to guide the plant where I want it. I’ve taken larger vegging plants and simply crush n bend the main. To prep them for floater screens. I do this typically just before flower to get branches moving in the direction I want.
The floater scrog screens speed things up. No waiting on a plant to veg into a screen. Throw the floater on top and train under for a week…then let them go. The screen will rise and grow with the plant…win win

But I’ve never taken a healthy ~ 10-week + plant and flatten it. !!! Now I’ve got to do it lol…
We had this 8’+ hawaiian snow, and it outgrew its spot… this summer as far as the neighbours down the street, seeing it bulge out sideways…

Due to us fortifying this beast, repeatedly, we had already agreed on corner posts and bamboo ribs for next year… A Low net is a no brainer now. flower bed is about 26 - 28 sq/ft

Maui Wowie is going to be challenge. Day 13 of 54, she grew 2" day before yesterday and 3" yesterday ! Now 28 1/2" tall even with the quadlining !
