Doesn’t make sense until you realize he’s a commercial seed distributor. He got a sh!t-ton of GG4 RIL seeds for, essentially, free. All it cost him was his reputation here on OG.
Hell, he may still be here under a different name. He invested a year here on OG before he did his first 5 figure scam. He may be on the verge of another one! And that’s why we need to be EXTREMELY CAUTIOUS about selecting a money person if we do another group buy like our last 2 big JOTI group buys. That’s why @Tappy is a rockstar for his role as the money person in the big JOTI group buy we did.
I was in on the first buy (I guess that was ‘the setup’) but I had an odd conversation with him that left me… …‘uninterested in any further contact’ so I wasn’t in on the second buy.
He certainly taught us an object lesson, if nothing else.
I can’t say it enough…I’m super honoured that everyone who took part had that much trust and faith in me and our members who helped distribute. Truly felt like a family around the world.
Tough to tell if you can trust someone with power until they have it, at which point it’s often too late. I wasn’t around then, but I suspect Hugh Glass seemed trustworthy to most people, until he wasn’t.
Yes, and it was primarily his role with the successful BOG group buy that won him that trust. It was that endeavor that he leveraged into his ‘big scheme’.
Hugh worked on a BOG group buy where my packs were crushed in shipping. He actually went above and beyond by sending me cuttings of several strains from his garden to make it right. Unfortunately there were mail delays and they showed up DOA, but the date stamps all checked out that he did as he promised. It was a BIG surprise to me when he absconded with the GG4 seeds because he had legit worked with me at his own expense.
That JOTI group buy was a lot of fun! A local friend and I split 17 different strains (10 per pack so we ended up with five seeds of each variety). My Pure Blueberry (Blueberry Muffin Edition) just hit 30 days in cure. It’s soooooooo tasty and has a wonderful buzz that grabs me by the back of the eyeballs. If I didn’t have a rough start at the beginning, I have no doubt that these would have just been solid bud on a stick. Nice tight buds…a real skunky fruity smell.
Your God’s Space Needle looks exceptional. I tried growing it outdoors a few years back when it first dropped, grew like a beast but didn’t start budding until October. Ended up with nothing.
I clipped all the lowers shortly after flower to give this type of growth. But I’m sure if it were left to grow wild it would throw arms pretty good. Overall pleased with the results.
Wow! I think mine were at day 65ish flower when chopped. What province/territory/state you in?
