I was putting out about 2.5 lbs every two weeks, was def cost efficient to buy a new one every month if need be haha money didn’t even seem real back then

The dehydrator I had was an Oster. It had no heat selection it only pumped out one temperature. Which I was guessing about 160 degrees. To give you an idea the shrooms went from fresh to cracker dry in two hours! Texture was perfect but they weren’t potent at all. I ate around 60 to test…and fresh shrooms were hit and miss woth varied potency. That’s why I decided to make the honey. To concentrate the psilocybin and preserve them that way I know I’m getting a good trip. Let’s say I were to try to sell this jar of honey if it were legal. What would you charge blackmarket or over the counter? Again there is 1.75 ounces dried wild cubes us 24 ounces of organic honey (retails around 20 bucks at grocery store)

Dehydrated mango are my favorite thing ever. If you are in washington, pikes place market has the best I’ve ever tried at the market across the street from the pig statue. I buy them out every time i visit! Also here in South Florida we have 5 mango trees on one of our properties. I never thought to dry them… we have too many I kept freezing them diced for smootheis. Gotta get on that.

I was getting 650 a qp 180-200 an Oz, 100 a half, 60 a quarter and wouldnt sell anything less than that, that’s Utah Market 10 years ago where they didn’t grow wild there
That’s the same one I used for my whole shroom growing career, never had potency issue from it
What your experiencing from the swinging potency I don’t believe to be the dehydrator, it’s not having isolated genetics that every shroom ur picking is luck of the draw and reinforces that belief seeing even wet potency was all over the place. That’s where the growers work would come in of finding the gnarly ass shroom in the batch and taking a tissue culture or having jarred spawn ready to bulk and hit the ground running with it with that isolated genetic. Took me a year and a half and hundreds of jars of genetics till I honed in my make ur eyelids drip off a gram kinda shrooms of my golden teachers and b+ biggest shroom was off a b+ tub on its 4th flush and would’ve been 12 grams dried and me and my ex shared bites of the cap and still had 9 grams drying the leftover, biggest tub flush was also b+ giving me 7 Oz 19 grams which pissed me off cuz I didn’t quite make the half lb lol favorite trip was by far the golden teachers though and was a mild fruiter averaging 3-4 Oz a tub

Yeah I’ve got 2 mango trees here and can’t figure out what to do with them all. I’ve made moonshine with them even. 190proof. Have to water that stuff down! Give the dehydrated mangos a go they come out great!

Golden Teachers I got in the PNW were the best I’ve ever had. Not most potent but best trip. In control, able to keep my shit together in public and still enjoy a good ride. Thansk for the feedback as always. Next time I go hunting do you recommend another test of somekind? Another wet or dry experiment I can do or recipe I can use. I am contemplating making chocolate bars. I have another quarter ounce in ziploc in my dresser along with the blue honey (cool/dark place). Would you recommend to keep them there for long periods to store the best?

U know jogging my mind a bit, I’m pretty sure the trick with that was only using the top two trays and leaving the bottom ones empty so the heat wasn’t so intense or directly on em, also had a box fan blowing on it to keep the building heat lower

I’d have to agree, to me the trip was always very enlightening and was like stepping out of your body and taking a look in to your life seeing exactly where u stood and seeing the clear path of where ur trying to go and visuals werent off the wall, just everything being very vibrant and pretty, peak sure makes the cheeks and stomach sore from all the laughing though haha
Squeeze em and leave em for a few minutes to make the psychoactive alkaloids oxidize and bruise, the darker blue/purple the shroom the more gnarly it’s gonna be, if they are staying mostly white then potency gonna suck. My gnarly ass golden teachers the mycelium jars was almost watercolor light blue and shaking the birdseed and doing grain to grain transfers the covered birdseed I put in the new jars always bruised before it recovered and went white again to colonize the new jar, never could find that gnarly of an isolate in the Thai, mestizo or Amazon’s and I def tried for years, b+ I found a gnarly one but that in the jar bruising wasn’t as intense as my teachers
Chocolates were fun to make and always melted the shrooms in and thrown into an ice tray to refrigerate back to solid, just keep away from animals cuz I had my 3 year old husky at the time take an 8th worth to the dome and ended up laying in front of my computer desk whining, she was prob thinking " color, what the fuck?"
Best way to store anything related to it is in a fridge and can expect a 6 month to a year shelf life

Very cool honey mix. Too bad about the dud batch, but I think it would have to do with genetics more than the heat from a dehydrator. All the shroom growers recommend dehydrators.

Price depends upon your geographical region and local legality. Here in the San Francisco Bay area I can get an OZ of cubes for 80-120 depending upon quality and freshness. Bulk pricing is lower: 200-300 a QP or 600-800 a P
