How far above the bottom of your tent are those plants and is your light at 100%? Those sound like amazing strains and damn they are looking good in those pots. @carty
Thanks for stopping by my friend.
No worries or rush at all.
Much appreciated…

[/quote]what’s good bud
And thank you as well for stopping by.
Plants are on the floor and I think the light is about 24 inches above plants at around 45%.
I’m running a spider 4000 in the 4x4 so probably running 200-220 watts.
I purchased a par meter over a year ago and it is amazing.
No more guessing how far up the light needs to be or how much wattage.
I keep my par levels (ppfd) 100-300 clone or seedlings
250-600 vegetative stage
500-1050 -bloom/flower
One of the best investments I have made for my garden.
Do you have an iPhone for there is an app you can get for it that interfaces with phone to get (μmol·m−2·s−1)? App is called Photone? Do the octos need air assistance, thinking not seems like an easier quieter solution than hydroponics?
Hello cactus
Thank you for stopping by
Really appreciate it
I used to use that app but went ahead and pulled the trigger on the par meter and has seemed to give me way better results.
Never tried to test the app against the meter though.
Once I bought the meter I just deleted the app lol.
I use autopots but are similar to octopods.
I started using clay pebbles at the bottom of my pots for the first 2 runs then autopots came out with a plastic circle spacer for the bottom of the pots so I pulled the trigger on those and have used them ever since.
They definitely have started coming along nicely
They are still in solo cups
I am such an idiot but yes wanted to know more about the autos and if the phone app was reasonably close . Yeah they seem to really be working and wanted to get away from the air pump hydroponics so just needed a little more idea of what you think about them. This is a good spot for healthy plants and getting learned up!
Not an idiot at all
I must of asked my mentor and others 1,000’s of questions to get to where I am at today lol.
From what I have heard from other reputable growers that I know they have tested it with many meters and apparently is pretty damn close.
I also noticed a bunch of other reputable growers that I know using the par meter that I purchased also and when I seen it was $175 and not $400 I went ahead and pulled the trigger.
I am very very pleased with my purchase.
Autopots were one of the top 3 buys for my grow.
I absolutely love them.
I fill my reservoirs up about every 7-10 days and don’t have to worry about watering at all.
I just set it and forget it lol.
You need absolutely no power to run autopots other then a couple of wave runners in the reservoir.
Best investment I have made for sure
Thinking about investing in a big drip tray like that and going back to water from the bottom, feed from the top… makes it so easy.
Looking good, pkg mailed today… FINALLY… hahaha
Received my package today @Carty
Thank you once again sir.
Really appreciate it and I can’t wait to run these bad girls ….
Looking nice!
Ty sir
Much appreciated
Needs these plants to show sex already
Prediction: two front left, female. Two front right male. I’m just guessing but they’re a few weeks behind some autos I’m growing and your tops look like mine did just before they showed.
I hope your right lol
And need another 2 in the rear hopefully to complete my 4 females:crossed_fingers:
Smaller 6 in the middle are fems so those should be getting transplanted here pretty soon.
Going to run the best looking. Out of that bunch.
And welcome to my little grow spot @rasterman
I appreciate you stopping by…
Hello og
Hope all is well with everyone and staying nice and lit
Quick update
Finally translated 3 blueberry and 1 orange punch in to there final homes.
Should have autopots running in a few days.
